Gorongosa National Park - Premier Whole Bean Coffee - Speak for the Trees, 12oz

I received this brand of coffee as a gift for Christmas. I loved it so much I wanted to buy it for myself. I looked around and could only find it on Amazon. The flavors are bold and smooth. The beans grind evenly.

Very good coffee, price is reasonable. After having been to Gorongosa, I am excited to be able to purchase this product and help the work being done there.

The real reason for the purchase was to support a VERY WORTHY CAUSE. If you don't know the story, look it up and then watch the T.V. special. Protecting and preserving a section of, what we now know is all to precious to the ecosystem of this small planet we call home. They protect their forest from poachers and loggers. Learning to profit from while protecting at the same time their section of rain forest.I love coffee,.... and I feel that whoever did the roasting and processing of the coffee beans, did not do them justice.Please, somebody step forward and roast a better bean for these people so their project is successful and can continue for many years.I'll then return for 5 stars and an updated review

Advertised as whole beans and arrived as ground coffee. You can’t return this product.

When you order this, be aware that Amazon ships the ground version of this instead of the whole bean. I prefer whole bean so I can get the exact grind that works best in my coffee maker, and so I get fresh ground coffee every time I use it. Someone at Amazon put a bunch of "Whole Bean" stickers on bags that clearly say "Ground" on the front. The Amazon stickers are wrong. The coffee in the bag is ground, as the bag says. This is the second time that Amazon has done this to me. The coffee is fine (I like it, in the whole bean version), but it's not what I ordered. And Amazon will not let me return it. I wish the roasters the very best, so I'm not going to downgrade it for Amazon's error.

I loved saving the forest! Very mild coffee but delicious.

I sent this to some friends in another state and they were suitably impressed. Very rich, smooth flavor with no bitterness.
