Great bag for travellers!!!
I travel for business a lot. My laptop bag was killing me so I did a ton of research on this messenger-style bag. I got some great feedback from a couple of people on Amazon who own it on which model and size to buy. Spot on advice. This is a great bag! It is very well constructed and can hold a ton of stuff. It is not as organized as a laptop bag so I have to pack a little differently but that's okay. ALso, the clasp system takes a little bit to get used to especially when the bag is stuffed. What I really like is the laptop sleeve. It unzips and folds flat and I went right through TSA without having to take the laptop out. The tags on the bag say "TSA-approved". By golly, they're right!!Also, the strap system is really cool. Very easy to go from fully drawn in to over-the-shoulder length.Best endorsement? I'd buy this bag again tomorrow. It's that good.

Amazing bag with tons of pockets and fearures. Wonderful company, lifetime warranty.
Amazing bag from a company that is wonderful to deal with and gives you a lifetime warranty that they stand behind. I sent this one back to Amazon and ordered a different color directly from Timbuk2, but that’s got nothing to do with my review. This bag has different prices for different colors, which I found annoying, but I guess it’s a supply and demand thing. Also, there was or still is a price difference between Amazon and Timbuk2. Whatever. I ended up with Nautical/Adobe.First let me say that I tried Mission Workshop Monty and Rummy (I’m pretty sure that the people who started Timbuk2 went on to start Mission Workshop). The bags from Mission Workshop are made of an allegedly more durable material, and if I were actually a bike messenger I would probably go MW Rummy, but I’m not, and I found the MW bags felt abrasive and sort of like sandpaper compared to the much softer and to me nicer feet of the Timbuk2.The metal tabs on this bag take a bit of getting used to, and I didn’t realize until I watched some product videos that you don’t even have to use them because there’s a very clever Velcro closure system that you can use instead. Velcro is loud though, so stralthier as an option are the metal hooks on the front. There are a ton of pockets all over, many if not all are lined. You couldn’t ask for more options. It’s either water resistant or even waterproof, but you don’t have to worry about it at all. I love that it has a briefcase style carry handle on top, which classic messenger bags don’t have.I read hundreds of reviews from consumers and professional reviewers and ended up basically comparing Timbuk2 and Mission Workshop, even though for the most part the MW bags are close to twice the price if you opt for the newer, lighter, “advanced” fabric. It’s not always the case because there are a lot of variables regarding price like I said, and I have generally found that if you ask for a discount for whatever reason at either company you will generally get between 10 % and even 20% off. My guess is that the profit margin is very high and that’s why I ended up getting a huge discount on this bag from the manufacturer. Obviously on Amazon the price is what it is and usually you can’t beat it, but I found that with at least these two companies the person who answers the phone has a lot of flexibility in terms of discount and shipping costs.

Excellent quality
I use this daily for a rough city public transit commute. This bag still looks new despite being used and abused on a daily basis. It holds my 15” MacBook, and an iPadwith room to spare for almost anything else I’d need. There are plenty of pockets and easy access zipper compartments. The strap is comfortable and simple to adjust. The buckles are all high quality and look really cool. I love that I can block off and silence the Velcro underneath the flap and only use the buckles instead. This bag also looks really good on me, which isn’t something I usually even consider when purchasing a bag.All in all I’m super pleased with my purchase and would recommend this bag to anyone. It’s surpassed my expectations in every way.

Versatile, well-made bag
Love the various pockets. Comfortable...holds a relatively large amount without becoming too bulky. It is a little wider than I would like--I think it could probably fit a 17in laptop. But, the material and zippers seem durable--really a nice bag.

Well made product
This is a very well-made and well thought out bag. It carries well, and has pockets in places that make it sensible. I bought the medium, and it works well for a good sized computer. I have a smaller device as well, so I have given some thought to a smaller bag; notwithstanding the great quality of this product.

I like the bag
I take this to work every day, but it mostly hangs in a closet or is carried around when I need to walk around the school.I like the bag, but the quality is a bit bad. Some of the inner pockets are made from thin cloth and their stitchin is coming undone. Even though I don't use most of the pockets. Also, the metal clasps that close the flap are causing the loops to fray.I like the bag, but there are definitely design flaws.

Functional, good looking, reliable... all you need in a good mess bag. Great satchel.
I wanted to get something that was made by a company with sustainable initiatives and good style. Narrowed it down to Patagonia and Timbuk2 after some research and loved both. Went with the Command bag for the size and happy about it so far. Looks badass walking around and dressy enough to bring to business events and more "look good for the client" meetings.Fits a 2018 15" MacBook Pro easily with a bit of space in the back laptop pocket; a few sketchbooks and binders in the main; charger in one side; adapters/dongles in a zipper inside; a skinny water bottle (my least favourite part) in the side elastic pocket; and there is room to spare. Colour combo is great too (carbon/molasses).Highly recommend. Only thing that I cannot speak to is the lifetime warranty, which I will hopefully never need.

Beautiful, functional luxury item
I bought this because of the reviews on independent websites reviewing laptop/messenger bags, and I have to say, they're all correct. It is expensive, but the quality is superb, it's functional and has loads of nice design touches. As William Morris said "Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful" and this is both. Time will tell if it has durable as it seems.

Maybe the best messenger bag under 200€
I only have this bag for a couple of days, yet it already made an impression on me. Very well made, with heavy textured textiles. The shoulder strap is long and supremely comfy. The front straps are a little funky but they are functional. The inside is roomy and well padded. All in all I am very pleased.

I love this bag!
I use this bag for both work and personal, and what I really like about it is all the pockets that are accessible without opening the main compartment. I can keep my phone, my tablet, my laptop, my keys, and notebook all accessible without opening the main bag which I use for larger items like binders. It's waterproof by design (the flap tucks in so there's no ingress point for rain), and I really like the strap's quick-adjust buckle (makes it really easy to go from across the chest just over the shoulder). The bag is really well-made, and while obviously sportier than a leather or pure black messenger bag, it's still very nice for work (and I really like this color scheme).

Teenager tough
We bought this four our 15 year old son as his school bag. It carries either a chrome book or a bigger gaming laptop every day, plus at least a binder and a textbook and, three days a week gym shorts and t-shirt. He also uses it when going between classes. It's been a little over a month that he's been using it and it still looks brand new (if you have teenagers you know this isn't an easy thing) and loves it. So many pockets and places to store things. It's awesome (I kind of want one)
