Super strong and quiet.
This comes with all the cables needed and more. It’s a quality power supply and Corsair stands behind them 100%. I had an issue with an older one in another PC and the RMA’d it back and sent out a replacement without a hassle. This one went into my sons gaming OV and has been running perfectly for months now. I bet it outlives the motherboard and processor. Great buy.

I know Corsair for its quality and good customer support. This yet another good product from them.
Purchased on: November 29, 2016 and reviewed as of January 17, 2023.I have had this power supply for a few years already and I have never had a single issue with it.It is quiet and works very well. It includes plenty of cables that should cover all of your needs.I recently decided to upgrade to a new HX1000i because I am confident in Corsair's quality and I need a new power supply for my 4090. Highly recommended from my personal experience.Unfortunately, I don't have the knowledge to go into technical details for the power supply so I can only share my average end user experience.

Efficient, quiet, and more than enough.
This power supply is probably overkill for me but I wanted a power supply that was completely silent and that will last me through any future upgrade. I never reach loads high enough with the components in my system that the power supply's fan will even spin up and create unwanted noise like my last one. This is one of the highest rated efficient power supplies out there when I bought it, besides the RM1000x, of course. The price seems to fluctuate and balloon ridiculously high often with each of these models. I bought this at around $100, and when I posted this it is up to $150. The RM100x I have seen at $120, now it is somewhere around $175. I can only assume this is because they are in such high demand because of their 'legendary' efficiency ratings by some guy with a website I forgot its name that does all of the testing on power supplies... anyway. It is powering the following and the the fan never spins up besides at boot:AMD Ryzen 1700 OC'ed to 3.9 GHzAsus Prime B350-PlusNvidia GeForce GTX 970Corsair 3000MHz RAM 2x 8 GBCorsair H100i v21 SSD3 HDDIt will run your stuff and it is super quiet.

Great PSU
These are super efficient, quiet, cool power supplies.I bought two to use in a GPU mining rig, and they have tons of connectors for all of the components I use and plenty to spare. The cables are all black and high quality, and route nicely. They look great. The connectors all have a nice snap when they lock into place, and feel solid once they're there.I would recommend these PSUs to anyone who needed one, Corsair products have always been very reliable to me.

I previously owned the extremely nice version of the corsair psu i think the ax860i
im not building my new computer till mid june (when gtx 1070 comes out) but i couldnt pass up on the 110 dollar sale, ive done alot of research on psu's so im posting this review early just to inform people. I previously owned the extremely nice version of the corsair psu i think the ax860i, but ever since i installed this and a new gpu my computer has been having issues, i couldnt ever find out if its due to the psu but after doing a bunch of searching i found out that the ax one i had was the very first iteration of incorporating digital feed back in a psu - im here to tell you thats not needed, which is why i didnt go with the rm (digital one forgot exactly which it is) - basically it says that if a product doesnt need that much power it wont send it the power (this one on the other hand is completely analog (right term?) and it will send a constant power signal to all you products with no fluctuation - if you plan on upgrading soon, unless u do this for ur business and/or have a multimeter for measuring wattage, i would 100% say go with a non digital psu - i love the quality control and customer service and all corsair products ive owned in the past so it was a no brainer to chose from corsair - ive always liked over buyign for future builds too and this one should do it, everything is taking less power these days so even if i had to run a 1070 in sli i could ( i never will though im a believer in a single gpu), i did want all moddular....so this one took the cake, oh and a manufacture date from 2016 is always nice (product released like a month ago)as i said i havent used it yet but i have the ax860i so i suspect this will work with flying colors as all corsair products dosorry for the garbled typing but i wanted to record my thoughts as i was thinking about this

Great PSU
A bit overkill but it was the same price for a 750 watt, so I was just like... whatever. Great modular PSU. I trust Corsair in this regard. The only place it loses its star is in the wall adapter. When I was building, it just didn't feel like it was plugging into the pc securely. In fact it was a bit loose. After I was done building and put the PC where it actually lived, I had do make sure the cable was tightly curved so it wouldn't wiggle in the socket. This same thing happened with a work PC in my office. We ended up switching a to a different cable to plug it into the wall that was much more secure and a tighter fit. I may call Corsair and ask if they have a solution to this... The computer is getting power though. It works.

Silent and Awesome Power Supply
I bought another pc and moved my GTX970 into it. I had put a cheap Chinese 650W power supply in it. Under normal use everything was fine, but when I went play games, the speakers would buzz, and the buzzing wasn't tied to the volume of the speakers. Even with the speakers on MUTE it would buzz. I tried several things and then became convinced it was the cheap components of the power supply causing it. I purchased this Corsair and not only is there absolutely no noise while gaming, there's virtually no noise at all from the power supply. Corsair packs it well and the modulars cables come in a nylon bag! It was easy to install and route the wires. The flat wires on the Sata connections are awesome for routing!
