Very easy to replace on machine

This is a piece of junk machine plus replacement. It spins to fast allowing the cable to break

I gave it 4 starts because I had to cut off part of the end that goes into the drum, it was too big to fit thru the frum drive shaft. I see others on the internet had to do the same. Took less that 1/2 hour to intall. It took longer to get the old one out that was all kinked up inside the drum.(Yes I found why it was not working). Works great not.....

My old cable had so many kinks from doing a lot of drains on the job. When I looked to buy a completely new one, they had gone up conciderably in price. So I bought just the replacement cable for what the complete unit used to cost years ago. I'm happy with my purchase and will buy from Amazon again when this cable gets too many kinks.

Cable problems on second use. Call amazon to inform them that cable has developed an issue after the first use which was two months from purchased date. Seem this cable is a one time use. Called ridgid to get help and they want me to pay shipping. Ups start at about $15 dollars. Ridgid says that the bend in pipe can cause it to kink. Or an obstruction. So it sounds like a one time use to me. So as others customer said stay away from this product. I'm happy that Amazon has taken it down at this time. But to pay more money for cable even if they replace it means I'm paying way to much. Saved on a plumber or home service company. But wish I could have used it about 2 dozen more times.

This cable fits perfectly in my Auto-Spin. It's original equipment grade and does what it's supposed to do. The install was no problem, and while it was still new and clean, I had the opportunity to make some marks on it every five feet with nail polish so I could see how far in I'm going. Yeah, we'll see how long those hold up... But anyhow, this cable is the right one and I'm happy with it.
