The media could not be loaded. I bought this firstly to reupholster a very old footstool in need of a new cover. I chose this one based on good reviews, the Amazon brand name, and its reasonable price.It arrived in a sturdy cardboard box with a polystyrene inlay, shaped to hold the staple gun and box of staples, which I’ll keep to use as a handy storage case. Included is a very helpful, easy to read, and concise instruction booklet.The staple gun feels weighty, strong and fits comfortably in the hand. Turning the wheel at the top clockwise adjusts the force for tougher jobs, resulting in the staples firing into the material more powerfully. In the video above, the wood I put two staples into is very hard and solid, and as you can see they went in fully, quite easily.Turning the wheel anticlockwise delivers less force, so would be more suitable for delicate jobs.The handle is relatively easy to press if you are pushing it downwards onto a solid surface. Of course, as with any staple gun, using at arm's length reaching high up a wall could be more tricky.The three types of staples included are handy for various uses. The standard square-shaped are strong and work well. The U-shaped set are ideal for securing thin cables, and I have used these a few times already with good results. The “nails” are effectively panel pins, and differ in that they can be used two at a time (see photo above). They’re fired into the material 10 mm apart, so the same separation as the pins of each standard staple. Did the Job...easy to use and good quality

Works fine, does the job but when you're out of staples, Amazon leaves you on your own. The Q&A for this product is littered with unanswered or unhelpfully answered questions about staple replacements.If you look at the bottom of the machine it does say the sizes of staples it takes, but this is not the whole story. Fortunately, although staff at my local B&Q were equally clueless as to which size staples to buy, they did let me test a few and I found the right ones.

I’m impressed for the price. Wasn’t expecting this to actually do the job. I needed to attach something to my wooden garden fence and wasn’t going to buy an expensive electric staple gun. Pleased to say this worked fine. It does take a bit of strength to use but for my project it was worth the purchase

Started fine on the 6mm staples it came with, tried on 10mm in same size - 140 - into batten and about 10% went in, the rest twisted up despite checking everything else was correct. Ideal for lightweight jobs with little staples but useless for quick repairs to chickenwire fencing or anything else outdoors!

Heavy enough to be sturdy.Only downside is the extra staples I bought are too long so you have to break them down to fit.But a great cheap product that's not shoddy plastic but metal

Thus is a terrible product the spring is so weak it stopped pushing the staples forward , couldn’t even finish the job. DO NOT BUY THIS. Gave it one star because no zero star option
