Less expensive than most others and works well. Only needed one but if any other of mine stop working I will use this to replace them.

Works with any regular outdoor light with some simple wiring.

To replace an existing motion sensor but it comes with some kind of Chinese fitting that doesn’t fit into a standard American 1/2” pipe threads

My application was replacing one that had quit. I had the detector mounted on the 1/4” soffit, about 6” from the light fixture. The wires were too short, I had to enlarge the hole in the soffit, then make a thin washer out of a tin can lid.But I prevailed.UPDATE: It comes on night and day. My nearby flag keeps it busy.

I wish I had read the reviews first. The thread is too small and too short to use as a replacement sensor as is. It is also too short to extend into the junction box of the standard motion detector light I have. Fortunately the previous sensor Is plastic and I cut off the 1/2" threaded end and it slipped snugly to what I suppose is some short and small Chinese thread used for their electrical. A dab of glue and I was good to go. The Price was better than the alternatives since this is the part that always craps out, price is important. American sensor replacements cost almost as much as the light, so I have a collection of lights with bad sensors, this is not so bad, just should be adapted for the American market!

Make sure you document the wiring before installing. It does come with a wiring diagram

Slightly difficult to install due to the length of wire. Also the threads should've been manufactured to fit a 1/2" weatherproof junction box, typically used for this application. Other than these issues it did work as expected.

Works great saved our lawn no more rabbits or dogs!
