Where is this kit manufactured (country of origin)?

There is nothing printed on the tofu maker itself and as I recall, it wasn't packaged in a box when I ordered mine a year ago. It was in a tied plastic bag. So I don't know exactly where it is manufactured, I checked the Soyajoy website too and it doesn't include this in the product information. Sorry I can't be of anymore help.

what type of tofu does it make: firm, silken, extra firm?

The kit comes with a 1# package of nigari which makes a somewhat firm textured tofu. The more you add to your soymilk, the firmer it will become. I've learned to play with it a little by experimenting. The longer you press your tofu, the firmer it will become. I haven't managed to obtain a silken texture yet but I don't think that kind is pressed, or at least very minimally. The wooden mold in this kit makes a fairly large brick.

Could someone tell me what the dimensions of the pressing cloth are?

Mine came with a pressing cloth, (linen). It measures 14" x 22".

The wood is glued together?

The box are held up by the duck tail design. Glue are applied to the duck tails as a second retention measure. Stainless nails are used for the cover where duck tail design is not applicable.
