Q: Is the sherpa lining throughout the entire robe? Does it run true to size such as a 42 size suit jacket would be a Large robe?

Hi, thanks for question. Yes the navy Sherpa lining is throughout the entire robe. I would say the sizing is fairly true to size, the large is for chest sizes 40 - 42 inches. The XL is for 44 - 46 inches so perhaps too big if you normally wear a 42. Thanks!

My size is L I'm using XL which is comfortable for me. I think M will do good.

Hi, thanks for your question. The inside fabric is sherpa fleece - 100% polyester. The exterior layer (the check fabric) is 100% cotton.
