I bought these eggs to replace the eggs my cockles are laying. And so far I’ve replace 3 real eggs with 3 fake eggs and my female cockatiel has accepted the eggs and sits on top of the fake eggs. They work!

My parrot laid her first clutch and I did some research which lead me to these eggs. They are high quality and durable. I wasn't afraid to leave them in the next. They were the perfect size, color and price point.

These eggs look exactly like the real ones that I’m replacing! Just amazing! My birds did not know anything changed!

The photo on the left shows the set of 8 dummy eggs I purchased in this set. The photo on the right shows an actual egg from my cockatiel side by side with an egg from the set. As you can see, the dummy eggs are somewhat larger than what my bird actually produces. ( I deducted one star for accuracy of size).My sweetie pie is stuck in a non-stop nesting marathon, and I am worried about her health. She has laid 4 clutches in the past 10 months.After reading up on the use of dummy eggs to curb chronic egg laying, I will now be giving her all 8 eggs at once as recommended, after she lays the first egg of her next new clutch. For now, I have removed the 5 natural eggs in her present clutch, and replaced them with 7 dummy eggs, as she looks ready to lay another egg. I’ll replace the new egg as well. My bird has accepted the dummy eggs just fine, so I am happy about that. She has tucked them all underneath her and is taking excellent care of them.The eggs are smooth and sturdy feeling. They are washable and seem like they will last a long while. A good purchase overall.

Worked perfectly

We use these eggs to bamboozle our birds so they do not hatch babies. They don't know the difference although if you look, you would be able to tell and that actually helps keep track of what is what.

My one bird started laying eggs but I didn't want babies since she is bonded to her brother. So I replaced them with these. Once she was done laying eggs and lost interest. I took them away. They did the trick.

Our birds didn't accept these at first, but as I slowly replaced hers with these one at a time, she decided to sit on them instead. Good size and weight, color a little whiter than our bird's eggs (but that could vary from one hen to another). Very slight seam where the plastic molds meet; perhaps that was what caused her to ignore them at first.
