I used to use these when I lived in Japan and just remembered about them when my back started to ache. If you have a knot or sore area on your body, this is the answer you've been looking for! It literally takes away the pain as soon as you remove it. It's so simple and so quick! Just find the spot that is hurting, peel the sticker off the bottom, light the wick, then adhere to the area. Let it burn all the way through (about 5 minutes) and then remove. EASY!

My Japanese girlfriend introduced me to these, as she had been using them for years to help with nagging pains, minor injuries and even helping with her cold and allergies. I honestly was skeptical about this sort of treatment, but after trying it out a few times, I'm fully convinced about moxibustion and its benefits.I've tried a few different ones in the past, but this brand is by far my favorite. It's been the most effective in helping me with things like minor pains, indigestion and insomnia. It's weird that something like this can significantly help me at home.The only caveat is that these can get pretty hot, so if you have sensitive skin, I'd recommend looking for the green box instead, as those don't burn as hot.

The smell is too strong. It has a similar smell to burnt sage or to the semi legal medical plant. Not something I want my home or my family to smell like

It was smokier than I thought. I coukd not use it at home since the smoke detector in my apartment is pretty sensitive. So I gave it to my friend.
