Great chair for many heights if worrk surfaces. Very sturdy and comfortable. After purchasing one, I bought a second one.

I am a big guy and most of these gas shock chairs lose their ability to adjust very quickly. This one is still holding strong. The seat itself is comfortable, wide and the lifts height is enough to where I need the step ring to get on it. The step ring is an optional install. This is an outstanding chair I would recommend it to anyone. It is for a heavier body so if you are under 100lbs good luck getting it lower. :-)

Two weeks after replacing my old office chair with this one, I developed minor then major back aches over a 2 week period. I developed sciatic nerve pain (which I never experienced in my life.)At Issue: the flimsy tubular frame attaching seat to backrest. It does not give needed support which allows or promotes very poor posture.This chair looked really good in the pictures and reviews; I'm 6ft,1 inch and it was just a bit tall for me when attempting to work at my home computer desk.The seat is sturdy, but the backrest is not, making it unusable for anything other than temporary or casual use. I have limited working space, so I replaced it and am disposing today.

Oh my goodness. This is the best stool. I’m a hefty gal and need a stool that will hold up. This is it. Works great in my craft room. I can have it in lower to work at my sewing table, then raise it when Im working at my craft table. This thing is built to last. In lowest setting, perfect for my sewing table. Wheels are heavy duty. Easy height adjustment handle. Again, heavy duty wheels, I have a carpeted floor. In highest setting seat is 30 inches high. And the back of chair at heist setting is 46 inches high. It’s perfect at my craft table, which is average counter top high.

This is the second we have ordered for our medical practice. The first one didn't have a foot rest, so we decided to order one with it. That was a mistake! First repositioning while in the chair and the thing collapsed. The move was literally a small push on the rest to push myself back onto the chair as the chair has a small tilt. The foot rest is a cheap thin aluminum that is held on by 4 small rivets. The worse part is that this seat pushes you forward making it difficult to stay in position. If you have the chair at its highest levels, there's no way you can reposition yourself now without the foot rest. This chair is great if you don't put it at max height and if you don't need the foot rest.

First let me say that I was too short for the chair. I'm 5'4 but wanted something I could reach my shop countertop. I was about 230 when I got the chair and I dont think that is so overweight that it would cause a problem. The foot rest would not stay up no matter how tight I made it. It was hard for me to get on so I kept it low majority of the time. The chair has come apart at the seat now and will have to be welded back together for me to use it. The seat is pretty comfy tho, I removed the back. The base is really strong and sturdy. Maybe if I were shorter or skinnier it would've held up a little better. Decent chair I suppose. For the price, I expect it to last at least two years, or longer actually. I used it half time... I have two office chairs, so it was used when I was near it. I am overall disappointed with it and would not purchase again.

this is terrific chair, sturdy, very well made, quality materials, super easy to assemble.my issue is that once you sit down, it loses 2 inches going down to 26.5.., which is too low for me.== update 2 weeks later ==so, if you get 10" stroke (sold separately) it adds 4 inches to the max hight and that's exactly what I needed. 5 stars.
