First of all it works. Nothing more frustrating than taking apart a pellet grill installing this and putting it back together and not work. This is my second one and both grills have new Igniter and auger motors and are working perfectly. Do not throw that pellet grill away. You can buy the Igniter, auger motor and much more and can install the parts your self. People toss them out for not knowing what to do. There are videos all over you tube that will guide you through the process. I am a 55 year old woman and have repaired 2 pellet grills. You can do it too! Great products at a great price.

Worked perfectly, easy install

It’s not hard to replace, but watch a video or two on how to do it. Make sure to pay attention to how much it sticks out into the burn pot.

We put this in 3 months ago. It is working well.

Used once and it went out again. Not sure if it's the igniter or something in the smoker causing it.

For my grill this was not the easiest part to change out but that has nothing to do with the rod just the engineering of the grill. My grill was only a few months old with the OEM part failed. So far I have not had any issues with this one. It works perfectly and did connect directly into the existing connector. This one is slightly more narrow in diameter than the OEM part but seems to be working great. I bought a second one to just have on hand if needed.
