I liked the way the suet was packaged with less plastic and easy to open.

This is really great suet according to the birds at my house. I use a couple of different varieties by this company. While the price is a little high because the birds eat it so quickly the high quality of this suet makes it worth it.

Birds seem to be less interested in this brand

I have been using this for years. Many birds of at least 7 varieties eat a pack a pack a day in the summer (less in winter - less birds around). In other words, they love it. All the suets are expensive for my budget but I love watching the birds. They also have access to seed. I tried a similar but a little cheaper suet which the birds also liked, but the package was hard to open and I couldnt get it into the cage without getting the fatty smelly stuff on my hands. With this suet you can open the pack and put it into the cage without touching the suet.

The birds in my front yard go bananas for both of these blocks. They will go through it in less than two days, and there aren't all that many that come by throughout the day. There was a very small amount of melting (115°+ degrees for a few days straight) but just very very minimal.

Dry and crumbly. Did not hold together well so much lost onto ground. Squirrels got the majority.

Birds love ours. It is less messy than traditional feeders. I'm not sure about the flavor, because well, I'm not going to try it, like I said, the birds seem to like it!

I set this out in the bird feeder and it's the first thing that they go for
