Not 100% perfect, still love it!
Not just for babies!!!I’ve had trouble with thermometers for a while now. No idea why but they’re never accurate. After my son spiked a 105 fever (he’s fine now, as I’m sure you, dear amazon review reader, care deeply about) my “best thermometer for home use” POS was giving me very inconsistent readings as I was trying to bring his temp down. Literally 2 degree differences from minute to minute. So I ordered this! And I am so very pleased with it! There is some room for improvement as there is with most every product ever, but for what it does it’s amazing! Here’s my breakdown in a handy dandy pro & con list!Pro:Constantly monitors tempNight mode lets you keep a darker screen up with the current temp and a graph of the temp over the last hourHigh and low temp alarms which you can set thresholds for!!!! (This helped me actually get some sleep instead of staying awake to check temps manually)You don’t have to bug your child to get a tempYou don’t have to try to find a pinpointed spot on their forehead in the dark overnightYou can track medications and symptomsThe app tells you how their temp responds to medsThe app can even give you Tylenol and Motrin dosing info!!!!The readings have been accurate every time I’ve checked it against a standard oral thermometer.Cons:There are some connectivity issues (but find me one gadget that doesn’t, amiright???)Sometimes the temp reading will go wonky but it usually adjusts within a minuteThe temp alarms continue to go off even after being muted. As other reviewers said, the adhesive patches they come with are crap. But that is very easily remedied with some medical tape. Not a big deal at all and probably cheaper than ordering replacement adhesive patches.I have yet to figure out how to shut it off so I just take the battery out lol

Get this. Seriously.
Do you NEED this? No. But seriously, why wouldn't you use the tools the modern day provides? This thing is awesome - we've had no connectivity issues, and we can read our little guys temperature from downstairs while he's sleeping (by standing directly below his bedroom). It sticks on under his armpit and stays there all night. We've had no luck keeping it on him during the day, he's just too wiggly (11 months), but to be honest, an ear thermometer is super easy to use in the day. This has stopped us having to wake him at night when he's had a fever in the day, and allows us to see his temperature chart if/when he does wake at night to see if he needs tylenol. This has been a huge weight off our minds, and lets our little guy sleep.UPDATE: 24 Feb 2016: So i docked one star for a potentially fatal flaw. Our first Frida stopped working on the second go around with this. Before we put it on our kiddo I saw it needed a new battery, so popped open the back and went to change it. I noticed a tiny "rust" spot on there, but didn't pay it much attention - put the new battery in and it fired right up. Worked all night, the next day we took it off (it just won't stay on our guy while he's moving around) and went to put it on the next night (as he still had a fever) and it wouldn't work. Thinking it needed yet another new battery (and i'd gotten bad batteries) I popped it open and this time there was a ton of rust in there, all leaking out the battery. And a new battery wouldn't fire it up, it was dead. So we emailed the company with pictures. They were awesome, a new one is in the mail to us, but they also said it looked like too much sweat had got in and made the battery short, so we should make sure the sticker is on tightly. Hmmmmm. Baby + Fever = Sweat. In our babies case, a lot of sweat always happens when he has a fever (and the sticker was on pretty much as tightly as it can go - as we need to do this to keep it on our wiggler). So we'll see how the second one works, and see if we have the same issue, this could literally be a fatal flaw - but I don't want to dock too many stars just yet as maybe we just didn't get one with a good back (and this thing, when it works, is totally awesome!). I'll update when we've used the second one a few times.

Does it’s job well, but has some issues
The pros:-it did its job and woke me up in the middle of the night when my baby had a fever-it didn’t bother my baby having it attached. You can also use any tape you like so attach it, so no need to buy more of their stickers-I could easily monitor trends in temperature and track medication administration with the appThe cons:-it uses a watch battery that only lasts for one night at a time. This thing ended up expensive since I literally had to spend almost $4 a day for a new battery for the week she was sick. I had trouble turning it off so I removed the battery after each use-it underestimates temperature. The reading was always about 0.6+ degrees lower than her true temperature. It ended up not being a big deal because you can set what temperature you want to be alerted about-you can’t stop the alerts once they start. I had to silence my phone because I seriously got close to 80 alerts in 5-10 minutes. After the first one, I was up and monitoring her so additional ones were not necessary.Overall, I’m happy with it. Yeah, it can be annoying but you can’t put a price on your child’s health. If it didn’t wake me up, God knows how high her fever would have been by morning. It could very well have saved me a trip or 2 to the ER
