Bissell Proheat 2x Revolution Pump Belt - 160-6428

Bissell ProHeat 2X revolution pet pro model 1548p. Rollers stopped working. Suction was not working correctly. Sometimes pouring water all over the floor. Replaced the two brush assembly belts although needed it it that was not the problem...that's when I realized there's a third belt and it's the flat pump belt. The big one. My original was stretched out 1 and 1/2 in larger than this replacement. Replaced it with this belt part # 160 6428 And we are back in business! Rollers now work perfect and the suction is great .I've went ahead and ordered a brand new brush assembly and this thing is working like new! No complaints. Will purchase again if I have to.

Worked great and I had no problems with it. It was durable, an easy install and a great use of my money.

I apparently own one of the hard to find colors of this proheat 2x revolution (the yellow one) because when I went to search for the belt, I was looking up "proheat 2x revolution pet" and a million other color combinations/models were coming up but I wasn't finding anything close to mine! I'm not even sure why there are so many different colors and models! I assumed they all used the same belt but had to make triple sure before ordering as we needed to fix ours in a hurry. I finally figured out my model was 1551 (sometimes referred to as 1551c). This belt is the perfect fit for it. The belts are apparently one of the more common things that breaks on these Bissells which is frustrating and the only reason I only gave it 4 stars. Other than that, the price was good, shipping fast and incredibly easy to replace (videos on Bissell.com!).One other thing to note...if anyone was an idiot like me and stored their temporarily broken carpet shampooer in a cold room or camper like I did, you might have found you now have another issue....the hose on the underside of it had cracked!So went back to order that only to find you can't! At all! I tried through Bissell directly and was advised it isn't a part they sell to the general public and to contact an authorized repair center!!! This was super frustrating because of urgency of repair!So I did contact a few and was told they also cannot get the part. What they do is basically use the hose from "donor" machines that are broken beyond repair or a similar hose laying around. One even told me it is possible to glue it temporarily and probably get 6 months more out of it. Then my daughter said she remembered hearing that anything that has a hose like this is made with a little extra just in case a portion needs to be cut off. She was right!!! It wasn't the easiest given the location of the crack but we were able to cut the end off and reseat the hose. It works as good as new now!!

I made the mistake of buying a 4 pack of knock off belts, all 4 of belts were installed and broken in less than an hour.This original Bissell replacement belt works and lasts. Pay a little more now and save a lot later.

Perfect size, easy installation.

No bells and whistles. Came quickly..fixed the problem. Completely satisfied.
