They Work great. Keeps my door from putting holes in the wall.

We recently replaced all the doors in our home and spent a small fortune doing so. our coat closet door sits near the front door. every time one of the kids would run inside with the coat closet left open the one door knob would smash into the other door and leave indentations. so when we replaced them i wanted to make sure no more dings.these feel like large pieces of silicone. the sticky back holds securely once on. that said i would use a bit of rubbing alcohol and thoroughly wipe off the spot where you are going to put this first so it sticks best. on one door i put it at the spot where the door knob would make contact with the other one. however on the other door due to the size of these i was able to put it directly onto the coat closet door knob itself. it fits in the center and is barely noticeable but absolutely does the trick. not a single ding or dent since putting these up.for ease of use, cost and keeping doors ding free? i wouldn't hesitate to recommend these 'bumper guards.'

The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five because it holds so well that if you need to remove it, it will take the surface coat off together with the bumper. I wish they would add a warning that removal will result in damage to the surface

I had a moment of concern when I opened the package and saw the six stoppers were stuck to a sheet of plastic. I thought, oh no, these are like the static decorations you put on your windows during holidays. But no, they are actually pretty sticky. I wasn't sure if the textured paint would be an issue, but it stuck. I didn't even remember to clean the wall first. Feels very secure, but I do think I could peel it off without damaging the paint.Also, the stopper is soft, so the doorknob bounces off with no noise or vibration.*Will update if it falls off anytime soon.

The size of the pads is great, however, the glue was not sufficient to stay mounted to the walls. Within several hours after mounting the pads to the wall they fell off. I do not recommend purchasing these. I did use double sided tape to mount them on the wall, which is working out a lot better than with the original product.

Perfect small size

These wall protectors get the job done, but I was a bit disappointed with the size. They’re smaller than I expected, so they don’t cover as much wall space as I’d like. While the adhesive is strong and they were easy to install, the overall value could be better considering how small they are. They work fine for light protection, but I’d recommend something larger for heavier doors or more noticeable wall marks.
