BND 225014 VAN NESS PLASTIC MOLDING - Food Container FC10

I have owned this pet food container for probably 12 years. We travel A LOT with our animals and this container has been with us every time. The bottom finally cracked on a camping trip, and I used packing tape to seal it, and I've gotten another two years out of it. However, the latch finally broke and I'm in need of another. This is the one I want. I've looked at others and the reviews say the latch doesn't hold well. This one has been fantastic, as has been the hinge.It holds a small (10#) bag of dog kibble, plus a one-cup scoop and two small metal bowls (when full, the scoop and bowls have to be smooshed into the food to close the lid). The lid closes securely. I have never had it tip over and open, nor have the dogs been able to open it. Because of the 10# size, it is still lightweight enough (even full) to carry from the truck to wherever we are staying. Our 2 dogs are 60# each and eat 2 cups of food each per day. This container holds one week of food. When we aren't traveling, I leave it in the laundry room to feed our dogs, and then refill it once per week from a bigger bin in the garage. I highly recommend this bin.
