Review: Great floor beam - Pros: Hard inner core, soft suede shell. Folds easily, multiple carry handles plus a drawstring carry bag. I found this beam to be the perfect floor beam for an advanced 8yo yearing to hone her skills. The beam looks nice and is lightweight enough for her to set up and put away solo. Super simple set up, fold and go. It's stiff enough for her to practice jumps on and, at 8', long enough for her to do cartwheels. Our rooms are smaller so I got the 8' but could have benifited from the 9'. If you have a child looking to do actual "moves" and not just walk, get the longest your room will allow. Anything under 8' is virtually pointless for gymnastics use. Overall, I would recommend this beam for a young aspiring gymnast. My daughter could not be happier with it. Easily worth $55.

This foldable balance beam is a great option for those of us who do not have a dedicated space to keep equipment up for long periods of time. It’s very lightweight but sturdy enough to hold an 11 year-old, 72 pound kiddo. I wish I would have purchased the longest option, but she hasn’t complained about the length I purchased. It’s durable and has been a great practice tool . It’s simple to pull out and store and easily slid under the sofa.
