UPDATED REVIEW:Im sorry for the initial low rating. The problem I had extended past the alternator. On 2005 to 2008 Trailblazers, there is what's called a GBCM, or Generator Battery Control Module. Mine was bad. It turned out, this module monitors the use of power from the battery, controlling the alternator. By unplugging this module, I found the alternator immediately went to it's default "Voltage Regulator" mode, meaning it wasn't to 14v and charged the battery. No more dead batteries, but a charging error. I found the replacement module online, replaced it, and life is so good. This alternator is keeping the AGM battery charged properly and I have NO amp power drop outs while really hitting the power with two 12" JL W5s and a Fosgate T1500. For the money, you're getting a good deal. I'm just sorry for the negative review in my error.Original review: I was in a hurry and this was the best price and earliest to deliver. The Alternator looks brand new fit perfectly and at first all is well, except it won't charge the battery past 12 volts. Tried a new battery, all brand new cables, new sensors ,and even tested the computers (both ECM and PCM). The Alternator measures 14.4 volts output but not even close to 80 amps output, so no full charging. Put another alternator in and old battery (that tested 100%) and charges to a full 14 volts. I know I have a bad one, but all the crap I have to disassemble just to swap this out, I'll be returning it. I'll keep them in mind should I need one in the future.

No good.
I installed this into my SUV and my entire electrical system was pulsating while I drove my car. Thought I had to break it in but after 2 days the issue continued and at night my headlights were pulsating.

Bad packaging and shipping
Good product, bad packaging. Poor handling by UPS . Use super glue to repair damage to plastic electric connector.Works fine no need to return. In the future please protect plastic from UPS .
