It worked out of the box. Note the instructions show how to connect but not a lot else. Only problem was connecting to the new TV where I had 4 HDMI sockets. The socket with HDMI ARC (No idea what it means) did not work. Changed to the plain HDMI socket and everything worked. On my setup the switch marked PAL NTSC made no visible difference. At least I can now watch my old DVDs on a modern TV.

I don't recommend this converter at all. Faulty. And as someone said, The output resolution switch doesn't move from the 720i position. The image in the picture is how I watch movies using this converter. The image is completely distorted. It's worth buying a new DVD player with HDMI.

Very easy to use, I used this due to my smart TV 4k doesn't have a smart cable at the back of the TV so I used this to hook up to my old sky box works perfect. Picture is perfect very good for money. I ordered it 1 day it arrived next day. You do need to use a phone charger for the USB cable. This comes as a full package, all 3 are inside the box. This is for scart to HDMI.

arrived on time,worked perfectly, i connected my old scart conection only dvd player to new smart tv which supports hdmi only, worked like a charm a1, ive read reviews stating product did'nt work very well, i think it works best with smart tv and old dvd player not visa versa.

Was excited to get this product set up only to feel a little bit let down. It does the job but the overall picture quality after plugging in a dvd player is quite pixilated. I've also found that the 720/1080 switch doesn't actually switch... its locked into the 720 position. I think I may be looking around for a different converter in the very near future.

Thought a great idea for a my son's PS4 from HDMI TV that don't work so to get it working from a scart lead thought this was amazing it plugs in well turns on has a usb you have to plug in the front of the PS4 but the switch from 720p-1080p as I needed the 1080p didn't work so I've had to send it back but yes thought it was a great idea but disappointing

I used it to convert my gamecube scart out to HDMI, it's pointless. The alternative was to use RF, which was fine if a little blurred. Converting from scart however, just awful! Colours all drained, picture just as fuzzy. I don't get how this product could even be made, it's just stupid.
