It helps me communicate and get closer to me my tween.
It covers a lot of important things I want my tween to know. The Bible verses are on point and has helped me communicate better with my 12 yr old. Every Saturday mornings will go to a coffee shop or restaurant to have breakfast and then we do this study. Sometimes we can spend 3 - 4 hrs together in deep conversation. Without gadgets or electronics to distract us! My daughter is the reserve type and won't easily talk about issues she is dealing with wether at school or home issues with her siblings. This book helped us get closer together and she was able to open up to me and we then can discuss and open up the word of God to help her. This study isn't supposed to be fast. Sometimes we'll only get 2 acronym at a time but we really dig in and discuss it. Somedays she has an attitude about going out and doing our study, but almost all the time once we get to our place and ordered and ate...she is ready to dig into the word of God and this book! It's really been a blessing to me as a mom who has and introvert as a child. Polar opposite of me!!! Lol

Excellent Bible Study
I decided to do this Bible Study with my daughters and have been very impressed. Ms. George connects with tweens through her writing and discusses everyday situations via mini devotions in a matter-of-fact way that engages young readers. Her questions are based on Scripture and are thought-provoking. My daughters have learned much from this study and have grown in their faith as a result. I would suggest that moms sit down with their daughters and do this study together, if possible. It would also be a neat study for a grandmother to do with her granddaughter, or even as a group Bible study with several girls.I would highly recommend this book as a great resource and one that tweens will find themselves referring to time and time again.Reviewed by Penny Zeller, Author of "77 ways Your Family Can Make a Difference."

Great for 11-year-old daughter
Our 11-year-old daughter loves to read, and loves to learn more about God.She is enjoying working her way through this book, a little at a time. She told me she likes the author's writing style and the way Mrs. George wrote that she wants the book to be like a conversation. Our daughter is learning positive, helpful, encouraging things as she reads and jots notes in this book.I'd recommend it!

Really great for young girls
Bought this for my 9 year old sister, and it has everything that we find really important as christians, in the book. You can write in it as well keeping you involved with what you're reading. She loves it.

Great book for pre-teens too
My daughter is 7 and we got it for her for Christmas... She has an extremely high reading level so she has no problems with the words. Also it has been 2 days since she got it and is about done .... She really likes it, and for me with this society going to a no-morality state, I do not want that from my babies!
