Intel BX80571E7400 Core 2 Duo E7400 Processor

I was not so much interested in the processor as its heat sink. I tried to order heat sink replacements by part number twice and kept receiving the wrong item. So I tried ordering the E7400 processor knowing that it would come with the heat sink I was after. It worked, my new heat sink performs perfectly. The processor is obsolete.

This is a very good product. I enjoy using it to upgrade and out dilapidated computer that i have had since the beginning of college.

This CPU is great for anybody wishing to extend the life of their current hardware. This saved us from spending thousands on new hardware and easily allowed us to extend the life of our equipment for a few more years. Well worth the investment.

I had thought about upgrading from my celeron 440 processor for a long time, but didn't want to spend a lot...when i found one used for 50 bucks i figured what the heck...major improvement! If I'd known how much better it was, i would have bought a brand new one long ago! Runs very cool , even with my old heatsink fan, and noticeably more peppy. If you have a celeron, upgrade...it's like getting a new computer!

Upgrading from a 3ghz Celeron processor, it is like night and day. While streaming heavy HD content and intensive GPU use, my computer rarely goes over 30% CPU. I like windows xp professional for its low resource use.

Good for Multi-Tasking work

Great for older Motherboards.
