Great carrier.
After a shaky start I received this order via FedEx (that's where the shaky start came in...stuck in local distribution center and than 2 lost parts: the axle (!) and the "connecting bar". I mean HOW do they LOSE a 60-some-odd inch AXLE?! But on to my Right-On Trailer Co. Multi-Sport Trailer:The folks at Right-On Trailer got this out the SAME DAY I ordered it! (Like just a few hrs. afterward). When upon finally receiving it the 2 parts were found to be missing a quick e-mail to them and they sent the replacement parts out immediately!! OUTSTANDING customer service. The trailer: solid metal parts, big beefy hardware, well thought out. VERY good instructions for a not-so DIY type of guy like myself. With an assistant I worked on it at a leisurely pace this past Saturday and finished all but the wiring for the running & tail lights, which went well the next morning. Than I assembled the Multi-Sport rack accessory. That also went great; same quality hardware and solid metal parts. I appreciate how the bolt holes actually line up!! (Don't you hate it when you try to assemble something where the parts and holes are not in sync? Well this goes together like a glove!) Amazon states that it is still on the way, although I have now received and assembled it.At about $800 +/- with shipping (it was not Prime) it was a tad pricey but than again, so are the four kayaks this trailer & rack are intended for and I think this will haul them very well. I have every confidence in it. Right now as configured w/ the "J" style kayak carriers I can easily carry four boats, plus a fifth in the middle of the upper section if I had an additional carrier. This looks to be able to do it all. Registration is now done, license plate attached to plate holder and my boats are ready for the road!

Its good, price is bad
Assembly was generally pretty easy. The lighting kit it came with was absolute trash, just plan to buy a new one if you get this. If i could go back in time, i would not buy this trailer. The price is too high for what it is. Its a decent trailer, it will be used. But looking at the market more closely, I don't understand why the price is what it is. If it was priced at maybe $7-800, it would be a fair deal. But for over $1000, i think i could have gotten a better trailer had i shopped around more. I rushed due to excitement of a new project and it cost me quite a bit. I've found many other trailers for much less and better quality.Again, not a bad trailer but definitely not priced correctly. Shop around and stay away from amazon trailers

I’ve searched long and far for a good trailer to haul multiple kayaks and canoes
I’ve searched long and far for a good trailer to haul multiple kayaks and canoes. Taking multiple vehicles and roof loading them was always a huge pain in the butt. This is an incredible find! $850 WITH free shipping. THEN the trailer arrives 2 days later! The estimated delivery was 7-10 business days but the seller had it FedEx’d the next day. Incredibly impressed!Assembly was very easy. It’s says 3-5 hours. It took me about 4 by myself. The instructions were easy to follow and there were only 2 sizes of bolts. So nice! (Nothing more annoying than projects with 10 different sizes of nuts and bolts.) You’ll need a socket set, electrical tape, hammer, screw driver, plyers, knife and crescent wrench. A second person would be helpful but definitely not required.I’m incredibly impressed with the quality. We travel all over the US and pull trailers constantly. The frame is very sturdy and structurally sound. I was worried about the tire size but the tires are DOT certified high speed tires and larger and tougher than I thought. I even took it for a test run empty (I figured that’s the least stable configuration) and even with the top off on my jeep heard no rattling, clanking or noises at all. It had no swaying or bouncing even at 65. The lights/wiring were easier to install and worked great. I was again impressed with quality and easy of connection.I paid half what people wanted for similar used trailers. I wouldn’t hesitate buying this again. Don’t let assembly or low price scare you away. This is absolutely comparable to the $1800-$2200 trailers I drove to see at stores. I would recommend the trailer and seller for future purchases.*The kayak holders on top are mine and were not part of the order. They can be purchased separately.UPDATE 8 Sep 18 - I had an electrical issue. The lights would work but wouldn’t blink. (Typical with a grounding issue.) I did a lot of troubleshooting, rewiring, ground checks, etc. I called Right-On and described everything I tried. They decided it was just easier to send me a whole new wire and light kit OVER NIGHT. I rewired the whole things with new lights in under an hour. BINGO! Back to normal. I can’t say enough about how great Right-On customer service is and how helpful and friendly they are making sure you’re happy with a great product.

Excellent company will definitely use again!
We were missing a part we called on Sunday and left a message but the owner called right back and apologized and sent us the part right away. Easy set up instructions were very clear. Fantastic quality & nice welding. My wife even said sturdy but well made. Can’t wait to use them this weekend.

Paint falls off, see pics
Description says powder coat, this is a single coat over bare, unfinished steel with no primer. Note the thin, uneven paint in the photo. Holes are not deburred, they will cut skin. You can also see how the hole imprinted on steel during shipping. There is no packaging between pieces, so it’s metal on metal during transport. Paint is already sub-par so it rubs and scratches right off. If you keep the trailer, plan on stripping it down and repainting. Update: after two weeks stored inside paint is randomly flaking off. All I did was assemble the parts and that handling alone made the paint fall off. See paint flakes in my hand. Absolutely unacceptable
