This mat is a nice size and perfect for a little one to crawl around on. He's just learning to crawl and has taken several tumbles on it, all without tears. Unfortunately it acts as a magnet for cat hair. Not only do my fantastic cats claw and scratch at this like it was made for them, but it manages to collect every stray piece of cat hair that's floating around my house. I've tried using the broom on it without too much of an improvement. You can vacuum over it and that helps to some extent. This would be a great product for someone with a pet-free house. I've had it about two weeks and already it's to the point where I hide it if someone is coming over. It looks that bad. I realize it's not the products fault that my cats are jerks, but it's still annoying to have gotten so little use out of it. Unrelated to cat damage, I've noticed the thin end pieces aren't sticking in all the way anymore eitherUpdate: 6/30 - I've managed to get a good mat-cleaning routine going & thought I'd update with what works for me. My regular vacuum (dyson) doesn't really pick everything up but I've found my cordless one does quite nicely. If I do that every morning and follow up with some cleaning wipes, the mat stays pretty clean for the day. I just have to look past all the claw marks. Now that I've gotten good at getting the pet hair off, it's not so bad.

Not only do I love this set of mats but the seller is kind and cares about the product he delivers. He wants to make things right if there are any problems. Luckily I had none.This was my second choice, I already had a different brand and wanted more of those same mats but that seller more than doubled his price. As it turns out, I'm so glad he did or else I wouldn't be as happy with my daughter's play area floor as I am now!The overlapping corner pieces that a few customers commented on can easily be fixed by replacing the corner piece with and end straight piece.

Awesome, kid friendly, and SO MUCH better than the alphabet ones with the removable letters. I mean, who wants to sit here and put a bunch of letters back together? I got these for our living room because we have tile flooring throughout our house. I wanted a little extra padding for when my son was learning how to walk. Now, he is a rambunctious toddler and these are still a great addition to the play area. He runs and falls, so it's nice having the extra cushion. I ended up purchasing 3 packs of these to cover the whole living room area.

High quality and doesn't have that smell alot of these types of mats do. Only 4 star because the edge pieces come up easier than I'd like although not sure that's avoidable. My 8 month old is pretty persistent on wanting to chew on them lol

Does the job entirely. Works very nicely.ONE THING TO BE VERY CAUTIOUS OF --> Order your full total amount of units at the same time because sometimes they make mat sets that don't fit the next set of 36 that you order and arrive... (Happened to me). However, the good news is, they will be happy to send you another set in hopes that the latest set you receive will fit one of the other sets you originally ordered...and it does workout. Other than that, good to go!

We bought an older home that has a huge and dangerous rock fireplace in the family room, which we use as a playroom. I didn't think the foam edges you can buy would work since it has irregularly shaped edges, so I saw these tiles used on a mommy blog and decided to try it. So far it has worked great! I have a one year old and a three year old, and so far they have resisted the temptation to try and pull them off. I don't allow them in the room unsupervised though, so if that is your goal this idea might not work for you unless you heavy duty super glue the tiles together. I even had some leftover to put on the floor. I gave four stars only because the border pieces do not stay on well on the pieces on the floor. Otherwise, love the colors, they don't smell, and are padded enough to prevent injury.

This was a purchase for my 1 year old Godson. It is perfect for using on the floor for playing in any room innhouse. And it’s great because you can make it any size and it is a really generous size when you put it all out together! Quality product. Shipped fast and easy transaction.

Overall these are great mats, but quality control is a bit dicey. We ordered two sets. One was fine, but the second set had three squares with dirty spots or discolorations in the plastic. However the second set also came with two extra squares so it didn't matter much. It also had a bent edge piece that had to be thrown out. No big deal since there are lots of extra edge pieces. Overall we're happy with them!
