The teapot is decent but doesn't feel high-quality. The strainer doesn't allow for leaves to expand too much.

Does the job well. The infuser basket is easy to clean.

This is such a lovely little teapot, BUT it had a chip on the side. I was hoping it was cosmetic, just on the outside, so I made a pot of tea. The teapot leaked and a crack appeared in the side. It was well packed in styrofoam , so the chip had to have happened before it was packed. I cannot return it because I already destroyed the box. A lesson to me. I am so very disappointed. Perfect size, nicely decorated, but unusable.

I love the way this looks. And it functions beautifully. Makes amazing tea.

I have long wanted a Japanese-style Green Tea pot with infuser so that I can relive my many years in Japan where I used to love drinking Green Tea made with loose leaf tea from a proper tea pot.This product is perfect in use and highly aesthetic. Works exactly as designed and I have now been able to make proper green tea for comfort and health.Well made and just the right size, I couldn't be more pleased.It's an easy FIVE STAR rating for me...regardless of WHERE it was manufactured...and earns my strong recommendation if you are looking for a traditional Japanese Tea Pot. I'm only brewing sencha with it so far and I found that the infusion basket might be a little small. The pic is with 8 grams of sencha and on the 3rd infusion it takes about 330ml of water to cover the tea, basically it limits what kind of tea you can brew but it makes a pretty nice sencha.UpdateI got a real kyusu and the tea is better I think, the hand made kyusu was $45 plus tax but it's well worth it to be able to properly brew sencha, giving the leaves room to expand.

While the teapot is well priced and aesthetically pleasing, it’s far from being optimal for brewing loose leaf teas. The removable SS mesh infuser basket style strainer is provided but it’s rather small and shallow so the tea leaves don’t have much room to expand. And forgoing this basket simply is not an option as there’s no built in strainer within the pot. Rather just a big hole connecting the chamber and the spout. Probably a cost cutting measure that detracts from the tea service.

Piccola, al massimo due o tre tazzine da té. Comoda e funzionale, tiene caldo il té e il design cinese o orientale è piacevole alla vista. Ovviamente, consiglio di usare del té decente!

This very attractive teapot pours well and makes two cups of tea. I particularly like the handle as I have arthritic hands and cannot hold some teapots - but this Kyusu Pot is ideal.
