I always try to keep vitamin C in my medicine cabinet to ward off any colds or "bugs", especially in the winter months. Saw these have 500 mg in a capsule that included elderberry with biofavonoids, easy decision. I have always been able to shorten the life of colds with this type of supplements. At this price, they make a good shelf item for me to grab at the start of something coming on.

I take vitamin C every day to keep my immunity up. However, there is literature indicating that much of the vitamin C just gets flushed out without being absorbed into the body. What intrigued me about this formula is that it contains citrus bioflavonoids which enhance absorption. In addition, the bioflavonoids are easier on the stomach and help with eye and cardiovascular health, especially when taken with Vitamin C. Plus there's elderberry, which I normally take separately when I feel like I'm coming down with something. So in other words, I feel like there are more benefits to this formula vs taking a straight Vitamin C supplement. I also like that it's a whole food complex, which I've heard is better absorbed. The pills are easy to take and don't contain any fillers. Lastly, it's made in the USA which is important to me, especially when it comes to supplements.

These capsules are easy to swallow and have no aftertaste. Based on the nutritional information it seems like a better source of vitamin C. Not a bad price either.

These are very good vitamin-supplement capsules with some nice extras. They include plant-derived Vitamin C, citrus derivatives, and elderberry, targeted at immunity. Basically it's a C supplement along with herbal derivatives that may (one hopes, though there's less than great evidence for their efficacy) be useful in boosting the immune system. The capsules are easy enough to swallow and have no flavor. All in all, a nice formulation and a fine choice for a premium Vitamin C-based supplement.

Not like any Vitamin C supplement I've taken before! They are capsules, not a solid pill. They seem to work!

I believe the benefits from most Vitamin C capsules are the same, the only time you may notice a little difference is when there is a variation in the milligrams. I feel that this capsule fell into the category of your average Vitamin C capsules. If you are basing your decision to purchase based on easy to swallow and no bad taste, then this would definitely be something worth considering buying because neither of those are issues with this capsule.

I was interested in this for the sambucus elderberry and all its purported benefits, from boosting the immune system, to aiding stress management, to its role as an anti-oxidant and paired of course with vitamin C. I find these capsules easy to swallow, with no aftertaste. These don't list any fillers and other stuff. Also, vegan if that matters.
