I needed these for a dovetail to picatinny mount, Mty new scope was a picatinny fitting so these were perfect for me, dis the job great

These are basically useless. Maybe there’s a secret, cunning way to get them to work but I wouldn’t know because THERE’S NO INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED WITH THE ITEM NOT EVEN ON THE LISTING so I wouldn’t know.I have a Weirach HW40 with an 11mm rail and I want to fix a scope to it that attaches to the Picatinny format. This, according the listing, is what should do. Think again!It is spring loaded so my assumption would be that the spring closes to clamp on the 11mm rail. Wrong! The spring works inter opposite direction to OPEN the jaws so there’s no way it fits to the 11mm rail. The Picatinny rail fits to the top but what use is that of the adapter won’t fit to my pistol?It seemed, possibly, that maybe if I pressed it into the mount other scope’s Picatinny fitting then this might push the two sides of the mount to fit 11mm rail but this involved holding scope, mount and pistol pressed together while o used the Allen key to try and tighten the clamps. Far too difficult and awkward. This is being returned, basically totally useless.
