Avon SSS SPF 30 Bug Guard Cool N Fabulous 4 ounce Lotion

I was shocked at how much I like this product. I'm a mosquito magnet and I used this product for 6 days outdoors and only got one bite. That is a major miracle. Also having the sunscreen was handing as one application did it all. The kids liked that it went on blue and dried clear so that they could see where they missed and well, it's cool.Most surprising I used this product on my face and I didn't breakout.HOWEVER - I ordered the Avon Skin So Soft that wasn't the blue bottle for kids, but the white bottle and I hate it. I don't know what is different about the formula, but the white balls up and peels off when touched - ICK!As for this product, very pleased and I will order this time and time again.

With concerns about bug bites this summer I tried this sunscreen/bug repellant at the recommendation of a friend. When wearing this I did not experience a single bite. It smells nice and moisturized my skin well along with protecting my skin from the sun and bugs. I did make the mistake of wearing it on my legs, after shaving, in a chlorinated pool. I would not recommend doing that as my legs were burning. It only happened on my legs so I assume it was the combination of a chemical reaction with shaved skin. At the beach or hiking outdoors I would HIGHLY recommend this.

I ordered this product before and was satisfied that it protected me from insect bites. I ordered it again this year for the same reason and expected the product to be of the same configuration. When I opened the tube, the fluid was a BLUE color. The instructions mentioned that the color would disappear which was NOT the case when I used it on my legs. That was really annoying and I hope that Avon goes back to the clear configuration that it had before.

We bought this bug guard / SPF for our daughter as we are now living in the keys. And with Zika a threat, we wanted to make sure we did our best to protect ourselves. I am very happy with Avon. This product does have a scent which is mild. It's smooth and with the children's version, it goes on blue and rubs in so you know where you got it on them. We have had good protection for over an hour. Then had to reapply.

This product was recommended to me by a gal who grew up in Mosquito-land, Minnesota. Someone recommended a different product to my husband that contained DEET. He scoffed at me, saying DEET was the only thing that could keep away bugs. Long story short, he got three times more bites than I did on our trip to Malaria-ville, AND he stunk so bad I was glad to roll down the windows of the car and let in more bugs. Meanwhile, I smelled like a nice watermelon. Moral of the story? Listen to people from Minnesota.

Worth every penny. Not one bug will land on me after use outside. They fly by but will quickly leave. The skin so soft in it moisturizes your skin at the same time. I love this!

it's the magic of skin so soft with all its moisturizing and bug repelling with an added sunscreen and the blue does help with application, but then you're all blue for the rest of the day. it didn't rub off on clothes (i was super careful during application, so i don't know if direct contact is safe) but our skin was a bit tinged all day and never went away.

I bought this just before my trip to Belize a few weeks ago. The sun was fierce and the bugs were everywhere. I used this every day on my head, face, and neck -- even in my hair (I don't have very much of it). I never got burned once -- a very effective sunblock with a nice fruity scent and a clean feel.The bug repellent part of things was less effective, but under normal circumstances (not being surrounded by black flies, mosquitos and sand flies), I would expect it to work fine.Great product and highly recommended!
