Brilliant Book
I thought I knew a fair amount about Rush before I bought this book. Now, having read it, I had only scratched the surface. So much detail without being nerdy or boring. In-depth comments from all the relevant people from friends to parents to employees. This book is brilliant, informative and entertaining. Well done on producing such a well researched piece of work.

Essential read
Everything you need to know about the origin of Rush and then some. Essential for fans of the early years.

A book about Rush...what’s not to like
I’m about 1/2 way through and it’s a great read as others have said. I’ve given it 5 stars because it’s about Rush but I do think it would have benefitted from better paragraphing. Quite often you have 2 or 3 people giving anecdotes in the same paragraph and gets a bit confusing who is talking.Might just be me and just a minor moan

Good and knowledgeable
Decent book with plenty of material from the band. Bought Limelight as well but haven't started that yet. Great band who were great in the 70's.

good story but flawed cover
An interesting recounting of the early rush story. Only gripe is that with handling the gold leaf writing / bordering on the cover eventually rubs off, so take car3 to keeps yours hands from rubbing it to much when holding the book

Gold will rub off, shouldn't at this price!
Beware! The gold lettering on this book rubs right off with only light finger pressure.Impossible to handle without spoiling.Very annoyed as it wasn't cheap!
