Love it....
Was going to answer the one star review. Didn't see a way to post a picture. So did this review instead.Gee... Any washer is a risk of water leakage. Even a large amount. Most of the time, that's all I have ever seen is a large amount. That's why I traded in my old washer for one very similar to this. A WM2101HW. Inserting picture. Bought used from a repair shop.Gee... Mine is in the basement. Has a drain in the floor right in front of it. If it didn't. I'd always worry with any washer.I"m happy as can be with mine. It washes better. Efficient as can be. I'm happy as can be.I also set mine up with a water recycling system. I pump the used water out on my lawn. I can fit 8 washes in the two barrels. Makes it easy. I also don't use a dryer. This one helps by spinning the clothes dryer. It is very dry here. Works good for hanging clothes up.So in the end.... I have an extremely efficient wash system that I'm happy as can be with.

Long lead times, defective product, terrible customer service
The number of hoops to go through to get warranty service is a lesson in everything that is wrong with LG, and the importance (or lack) they place on the customer. After waiting 3 months receive installation of this washing machine, after 5 loads I discovered a leak. After 6 calls to warranty service in order to be led through a series of bizarre and Byzantine steps to convince me I was operating the machine incorrectly by not using HE detergent, I discovered a crack in the unit's gasket seal. The service rep then sheepishly admitted there could be a problem, but then I had to wait another 3 days for their automated system to send me an email with a link so I could upload supporting documentation to even BEGIN warranty service (are there any more hoops to go through? Send my credit scores? High school diploma? Underwear size?). I bought LG on brand reputation. They have destroyed that reputation by the way I have been treated through a complex and loyalty-destroying customer service process and its multiple steps to fix something that is their defect to begin with. In this day and age, processes like these will get companies like LG disrupted out of existence.

LED screen impossible to read
Why on earth would anyone design a washer with an LED screen with no backlight? It is impossible to read, so we have to have a flashlight next to the washer at all times. So far, the washer is a nice little washer, but LG needed to spend a little extra money and add a backlit LED panel.

Good machine with one fatal flaw
This machine does a great job of washing all types of clothes. But it has one feature that drives me absolutely nuts: The control screen is black and not back lit. It has little LEDs that light up depending on your selection but you can't read what they mean because there is no backlighting under the black screen. They sell you a $1,000 washer and save 10 cents by not putting a light behind the screen so the customer has to use a flashlight every time they use the washer?

Great but quirky machine
I've had it for about 2 months now. Overall, I really like the machine. Thus far it has done a really good job cleaning. A couple of quirks: The preset cycles are just that - preset, w/o a lot of ability to change things. Depending on cycle, you may not be able to change the soil level to lowest or increase water temperature to highest, etc. The machine is highly automated and does a lot of sensing, it uses very little water and spins the clothes so fast they come out almost dry! Because it spins so fast it can vibrate and be a bit noisy if the load is unbalanced (like a bath towel mixed in with a bunch of underwear). My only major complaint is due to it's design and energy star rating, it won't do a true hot water wash - it always mixes in cold water and unless you select the SANITARY cycle (which activates the internal heater), the water will be quite cool even on the hot setting. I use liquid HE detergent so this hasn't been a problem, but I wonder if powders or pods would completely dissolve in such cool/cold water.

Fantastic little units.
I needed a washer and dryer that would fit into a space of about 28 inches deep and 25 inches wide. This is hands down one of the best units I could have purchased. I have a family of 5 and the laundry is constantly going. I needed something that would handle everything I could throw at it. This unit does exactly that. I am a second floor condo unit. I do not have a dryer vent pipe and really didn't want to deal with putting one in. The unit is stacked (the stacking kit comes with the dryer) and we drain the dryer condensation through the drain pipe. Some people are concerned the drying time is longer with these condensation units however I find the drying time very comparable to a full-size unit. With the exception of drawing water, the washer is very quiet. Regular size washing pods are too much for these little guys. I have done a few loads and find it's simply too much detergent. Now, I place a tablespoon of H.E. detergent in the plastic cup that comes with the laundry soap, and I throw the whole cup in the washing machine. Cup comes out clean and it's the right amount of detergent for this unit. It works perfectly! I don't have the doors back on the closet yet and I can barely hear either the washer or dryer. They are very pretty to look at. My previous GE Unified washer/dryer leaked while we were away and caused significant damage to the unit below us. So we placed the new LG units into a compact metal drip pan made specifically for this size (found on Amazon). We also added Flood Stop to the faucets to ensure there is never an accidental flooding issue if we are away. Accidents happen. I try and be prepared. The units are expensive, however, if you are looking for a small unit for a small space, these are the units for you.
