I bought this to hold the ashes of a pet bird who passed away from old age. He was much loved & the quality of this box is an appropriate container for his remains.

I LOVE this box,and I think my Mom will love it too.It is a Christmas gift for her.It is very Heavy it stands on three little "claw"foot legs.It also has a Red interior I got it for my Mom to have her Rosary in it,and it fits very nicely.
