Overall Good Buy
The cable itself works great with my old Galaxy Tab 2. At first it was charging really slow and the box (wall plug adapter) got so hot that I was afraid to let it charge overnight. I switched out the box for one I already had and it started charging faster and not getting hot. Shipping was super fast...came 2 days earlier than estimated! Overall very satisfied...just be aware there may be issues with the adapter.

Excellent replacement for original charger.
First...I have no idea what happened to the original charger that came with my old Samsung tablet SCH - I800, and I recalled that I had a lot of videos and photos that I wanted to retrieve and couldn't without a 30 pin charger. And, from researching these items, many reviewers indicated that something as simple as a 30 pin adapter on a USB cable would prove woefully inadequate for the purpose of handling the needs of the tablet. Then I saw this one, which had the basic overall look of the original charger, and, with reviews that indicated it was a good alternative. And that's the case. I received this charger one day after ordering it, it came in perfect condition and was plugged in and charging my tablet within 1 minute of opening the package. The charger didn't work quickly...whatever the reason, maybe that's not how it was intended to work, or perhaps my tablet was SO dead that it didn't really remember how to take in the life saving current that would revive it? At any rate, it took a few hours to fully charge my device (and, during that time, I was also accessing the device to remove apps, and unwanted files, so I'm sure that might have had something to do with throttling the charge. Nevertheless, I am very pleased that this charger worked, and that I can use/access my tablet again. So, I do recommend this charger as an excellent replacement for the original charger for an older Samsung tablet.

Variety of choice
Even though there was a few choices it did not fit my nook as I expected it would. So I gave them to my daughter for various electronics that she has that they will work.
