One of the More Effective, and Efficient Forms of Lumbar Support That I Have Used, Most Highly Recommended.
This is a terrific travel pillow, and the ease of use with the self-inflating feature renders it by far the best that I have ever experienced. The size is just right,, and the self-inflation feature simply adds to the speed and efficacy with which this can be put into use. No more huffing and puffing, just a simple adjustment, and it is ready for use,The color and fabric resists staining and when somehow something does stain, a gentle spot clean generally removes these stains. For the first time in a long time I quad able to travel without awakening all twisted, and aching with back pain. I highly recommend this lumbar support pillow - it does what it seats that it will do, a feature not so self-evident these days. I recommend this for all sufferers of lumbar region, and other back pain. It will make a noticeable difference, and a happier you.I recommend this mostly highly for all sufferers of "Airplane Seat Syndrome".

Loved It!
This arrived one day before I had to get on a plane for the first time in 4 years with a bad back. I didn't even open it before leaving, but was a bit surprised it wasn't more flat yet managed to find space for puffy roll. Tossed in carry on bag. I like the emailed instructions. Printed that and stuffed in the zip pouch because it seemed a bit more clear. Once in air I removed my constricting back support, pulled out the travel pillow and instructions, and inflated. Very easy. My first thought was "that's it" as I thought it would get more rounded. It easily inflated and although it looks flat when inflated, once I put it behind my lumber I was like "ahhhh". Looks were definitely deceiving. What i figured out was it was the exact width of my airline seat and because of horrible curve in they make in those seats once you put the pillow behind it fits right in and curves around the lumber and waist evenly and providing fabulous support and helping you sit more straight with better posture and shoulders back. If it was more rounded when inflated I think it would be too much and push me too far forward in my seat, reducing leg room. Already I felt a bit better when reclining the seat a bit. I'm a approx a size 12 woman. Someone smaller might not need seat reclined and someone larger may feel need to recline more than me to keep more of butt on seat and leg room. Either way, the designers knew exactly what they were doing and likely tested on various sized people. It's a one size fits all; otherwise, it's just perfect for me :) LOVE this pillow! So glad I found this on Amazon and paid the extra fee for last minute shipping.

Nice Portable Inflatable Support - Soft Yet Firm
Kind of an amazing technology. The first time you open it, give it a puff of air to help it uncurl from being rolled up in it's handy carry case. The little case has a carabiner to clip it onto your purse or whatever bag you travel with. I expected something more like my lumbar pillow which has a curve on it. This is flatter and I wondered if it would make a substantial difference in my comfort. Turns out, it seems to feel good when I place it just above my lumbar area. Not sure if it expands enough for placing lower on my spine. Will travel with it and find out. And to deflate it, just open the cap and roll it back up, then close the cap and clip the strap in place with a snap, then return to pouch.

This works pretty well, and is quite adjustable.
The thing that I couldn't figure out from the description is just how this thing self-inflates. It doesn't have a pump or batteries. Well, it sort-of self-inflates. The bag is shipped all rolled up and empty of air. The bag is fairly stiff, so that when you open the air valve, air does go in. But it only does that to the natural size of the somewhat rigid bag. So sort-of.With the air valve open, you can blow extra air into the bag for more support, or you can squeeze the bag to remove some of the air. So it is pretty flexible as to how large or how stiff you want it. I have been using it everyday for my lower back, and it does hold the air consistently without leaking.Pretty nice product. I would recommend. The only negative is that the valve sticks out the side, which is just about unavoidable I think. If your back is wide like mine, you might end up laying against the value, and that doesn't feel good. I do manage to tuck it into an area away from my back, but it is just a little inconvenience.

UPDATE: I got a leaky pillow
Update: after losing mine on an airplane (twice), my third order of this is defective. It leaks air and deflated within about ten minutes of being inflated. Super bummed. It says it has a lifetime guarantee but I can’t fond a way to contact anyone about getting it replaced. Can someone please help??This thing is awesome. I travel a TON and always need more lumbar support, and this is perfect. It rolls up to an easily-portable size too. I get a lot of people asking me about it because it's such a great idea and airplane seats really offer no support. It's about the width of a regular plane seat (not too big for regional jet seats either), so it works just fine for me. I also occasionally sleep on tour buses, and use this between my knees to keep my hips aligned. I've more than gotten my money's worth and would absolutely buy this again and would recommend it to anyone!!
