Could I wear these outside the house, for instance with jeans to the grocery store? Or are they house slippers?

I wear my with jeans and sweaters, regular rain doesn’t hurt them, casual at work, grocery pretty much everywhere.

If you wear half sizes, best to go a size up or size down?

I wear a size 11 or 11-1/2 depending on the shoe brand. So I sized UP to a 12 in the UGG slipper. They gave/stretched after a month or so of almost daily wear. Now I need a new pair and think I will order a size 11. They may feel tight at first but will, no doubt, stretch in a short time of constant wearing.

I normally wear an 8.5, but these 9s are so tight! Do they stretch out in time?
