Tandy Leather Craftool� Adjustable Creaser 8072-00

Utter crap. I wouldn't even consider this an actual edge creaser. A real adjustable edge creaser is longer on one side than the other, which allows you to use the edge of the leather as a guide for the creasing side of the iron. This iron is exactly the same length on both sides, which makes it impossible to make a straight line. I rarely purchase Tandy leather products because they are generally Chinese made junk. This product just reminded why I don't purchase their products.

This creaser tool has made detail work much easier than without it. It works great with a fresh edge before bevelled and forms a lovely little line. The adjustment is nice and can adapt to most edges and corners. My only real issue is that sometimes the adjustment screw can get in the way making you move the whole piece to not mark up the work. Not a big problem for me but may be for you.

This is quite a handy tool to have in the tool box. You can crease leather with it or use it to mark stitching lines. Works best on thicker leather and veg tanned

That's a piece of s***, just like cheap and very low quality china products. It doesn't worth the money. The edge where the setting screw is attached is sharp and scrapes the leather badly.

Works fine for veg tan but other leathers it gave really weak lines depending on the density. It is plated so you're not able to do any hot creasing with this. Overall it's decent, but I ultimately had to go with a different one as I needed it for hot creasing.
