Pretty good
I was a little hesitant to try these Maplewood smoked crickets, but I'm glad I did! The smoky flavor is really delicious, and the texture is crunchy and satisfying. Plus, they're a great source of protein and other nutrients. I've been snacking on these as a healthier alternative to chips or other junk food, and they're surprisingly addictive. The package is also a decent size, so it's a good value for the price. If you're looking to try something new and adventurous, I highly recommend giving these smoked crickets a try!

Tasty, but with a little to much smoke.
Overall the product is pretty good, 60g of protein per 100g, and you get a decent amount for the price. They are great as a salad topper, or an alternative to something like bacon bits. However, the smoke flavor is to strong when not complimented by any sweetness, and I say this as someone who smokes briskets on a regular basis. Still, once added to another dish, rather than just eaten as a snack they are good.Note: Don't be afraid of trying insects as a food source, most of the world actually eats them, plus they are a great source of protein and nutrition.

Bought as a punishment! kept as a snack
Flavour:Initially acquired for a game punishment, the maple wood smoked crickets turned out to be a delightful surprise! Their unique combination of smokiness and maple infusion created an unexpectedly delicious taste that earned a solid 5-star rating.Value:Beyond their initial game-related purpose, these crickets proved to be an excellent value. The delightful flavor paired with the reasonable cost makes them a standout choice, earning a well-deserved 5-star rating for both flavor and value.

Good smoky taste
Nicely smoked and bland taste of crickets not too evident. Good for snacking. Bit pricey so I hope the crickets are well cared for and enjoy their lives on the farm

Grease experience
I've eaten tarantulas and scorpions abroad, these are cleaner and an easier experience. Try it. Bloody brilliant.

Better than I was expecting!
I think these are actually really nice, a lot of the reviews say that the taste is too smoky however I think I disagree. The only remark I have is that it has quite an after taste after the first few bits but then it dissipates. Overall they are really nice and I would definitely recommend, even if it is just to try. It is really cheap for the amount that you get as well.

Horrible
Bought as a stocking filler but all the family tried them and agreed that they tasted foul! As we are a family that pretty much no food is safe around, this is fairly strong criticism!

Not for me
All for sustainable foods and bug munching, but the flavour leaves a lot to be desired.
