I put these on the bottom of my Poly bar height Adirondack chairs to protect my new Timbertech composite deck from scratches. It is now very easy to slide the chairs on the deck and so far, no scratches. They were easy to install by hammering them into the HDPE plastic. Hope they hold up.

The nails on 2 sliders were bent and 1 nail loose

We purchased a rug that was tufted so the chairs were hard to push in and out with the old round teflon sliders. I installed these new sliders on one chair and they worked beautifully! As the directions state, drill a pilot hole before tapping the nail into a leg.FYI.. If you had previously used screw on sliders and they left a hole to big for the nails to hold, insert a fat round wooden tooth pick into the hole along with a little wood glue.. and then tap the nail in.

We put these on dining room chairs with skinny legs. The chairs slide much easier on area rug under the dining table. These should save the chair legs from getting loose or broken, from people trying to slide in or out while sitting on the chair.
