Cheap science demonstration for the kiddos
This lens served as an at home science demonstration to my kids on how light bends and moves through different materials and angles. A cool and cheap/easy way to show how a real world invisibility cloak could be achieved using the right materials. Kids enjoyed it, though there isn’t much application for it afterwards.

This is a great trick for younger kids
I am using this as a quick trick to amaze the Cub Scouts. This demonstrates polarization of light and how it can be used to "warp" light around things and bend our perception. So far the kids are absolutely amazed, even if most of the time I can't explain it clearly.
