This was a perfect replacement for my husband's shaver cable as it had got damaged. Fitted the power socket on the shaver so very pleased with this item.

This adapter came with a Philips PT715, 15v dc shaver and enables it to work from UK mains, so it's a power supply not a charger, because there is no battery to charge. The shaver was dead recently and I found the HQ8505 adapter to be at fault. From new the shaver had been difficult to turn on and off. The new adapter cured this fault. It turns on and off with just one press now, also the shaver seems more powerful, but it's early days so it could deteriorate with time. I feel it's good value for money and I'm pleased with the purchase.26Feb24 The shaver switch will turn it ON, but not OFF anymore, so the Adapter has deteriorated a predicted. I turn it off with the socket switch.

My dad brought this as he could not find his charger. It worked really well good value for the price.
