These fit the humidifier perfectly and help increase the household humidity levels during the cold, dry months of winter. The construction is good and the materials actually last a couple of seasons. The old humidifier we had went through a couple water pads a winter.

It's unclear how safe they are, what they're made of, etc... but there aren't a lot of options. I just wish I could tell how long they actually would last if you dont use your home humidifier often.

Fits my Aprilaire 700 perfectly. Comes with instructions as well so you don't have to go looking for your Aprilaire manual, and on my model no tools were required.Installation is fairly straight forward. If you have an Aprilaire 700, just have to push the tabs on the top and bottom of the cover to remove it. Make sure the vent is turned to Summer position so it closes the airflow or the valve inside will hold the insert when you try to remove it. Holding the top left and top right of the insert, pull out and undue the 2 clips holding the water feed tube. You should now be able to lift out the insert with the old filter, turn it upside down and it should slide out. Clean/wash the bottom if need be, slide in the new insert, and put everything back together in reverse order. If its your first time might take 5-10 min, my second time around took 2 min, maybe even less.

I ordered this twice. The first time the panels were fine. However, the second set of panels kept causing the humidifier to leak. After much troubleshooting and repositioning the pad repeatedly and getting water all over the heat exchanger, I noticed the panels were too short. They are supposed to be 13" (33 cm), but both pads in the set were closer to 32.5 cm (see photos). That 0.5 cm difference caused the water to drip over the filter and out of the humidifier. I had to shim the pad by 0.75 cm to get it to work without leaking. Even though the package is clearly marked as genuine Aprilaire, this mishap makes me doubt it.

Have a whole home humidifier in new house where the filter clearly had not been changed in years. Bought these as a replacement. Less than 5 minutes to install a bit of vacuuming and cleaning of built up scaling and humidifier is now working again with minimal cost.

There are certain products I would only use from the original company, and this is one of them. The filter fits in snuggly and is easy to put in. If looked after properly, it last a long time. Very pleased with it.

The box comes with all the detail instructions needed to install. I felt very confident after reading and was able to perform on my own device. I ordered the 10 pack which gives the most value for my money. In addition, it gives me the peace of mind not having to buy more filters down the road. The filter feels good quality, and looks identical to the default one already installed for my home.
