Great for Streaming
I bought this capture card with absolutely no expectations. But to my surprise, this works flawlessly, though, it’s limited to 1080p 30fps output, but for this price, it’s amazing! The quality is not on par with Corsairs, but it’s still extremely good. I use it for my Nikon DSLR with MacBook Pro for live streaming and it works perfect. No drivers needed for Mac either, it’s direct plug and play. No frame drops at all. The colours are a tad bit desaturated as compared to the expensive ones, but it’s unnoticeable unless compared side by side. Nothing you can’t correct with a little bit of colour correction. Can’t comment on the audio, as I don’t route audio through it. Definitely go for it if you’re looking for a cheap capture card. It’s worth it!

Works well..
Received in good condition. It's simple plug and play device. It is not giving output 1080p at 60fps in obs as claimed but goes upto 1080p 30fps. There is noticable lag at 1080p but it's much lesser at 720p on OBS.I used this to connect my mirrorless camera Fujifilm XT30 as webcam for zoom and it worked well. I used it for zoom for continuously 1.5 hrs and it did not give any problem, also it did not overheat as I read about this overheating problem about some other capture cards. On zoom I felt almost no lag so for me its purpose is served.Great value for money. Must buy.

Not a reliable device. Broken only using for a little time
The picture quality is good for the price and a wide range of color support.delay is acceptable .only downside I found is the audio output is mono only .It's not dealbreaker in this price but I am curious is it supposed to be mono channel multiplied in two? Only used for 2-4 hours so don't know abt the durability. I will update after long run.Update: The capture card is not working anymore. I have used it for a very little time and for few days total of avg 8 hours actually. Recently I was trying to record my PS4 and found that the device is not detected on win 10 anymore. I tried it on another pc but no result. The support isn't replying to my massage so yeaa not a reliable device at all. I am cutting star rating for this.

Visible Jpeg compression artifacts. Not for quality work.
These low cost capture cards will give us just a job done quality. I bought this for experimental purpose anyways. In my testing/use I have observed a lot of Jpeg compression artifacts in the output. Not for quality work. It might help a budding streamer or basic how to videos creator. I don't know how people use these capture cards for any streaming work. Now I understood why we need a good capture cards.

My LUMIX camera is now a 1080p Webcam for Teams!!
Background:I was thinking of buying a new FHD webcam, something like Logitech C920 but at 11,000 rupees that's a very costly option in India. Then I remembered I had my 5 years old Panasonic ZS100 camera lying around. I don't really use it for photography anymore because my phone camera does an equally good job (sigh). So, I bought this capture card and used it to connect my camera to my laptop and voila! I now have an amazing webcam for just 1700 rupees (1100 for this capture card + 300 rupees for camera's micro HDMI to HDMI + 300 rupees for Male-to-Male HDMI cable).Picture Quality:I tried various video options from my camera from 1080p 30fps to 4K 30fps. I got the best picture quality at 1080p 60fps. I think the capture card drops a bunch of frames so 1080p 30fps becomes even more laggy, whereas 60fps from camera gets converted to a proper 30fps webcam.I directly use the capture card feed in Teams and it works perfectly; in Teams you can see "USB 3 - Capture" or something like that as one of the video options. You can also use OBS Virtual Camera to feed into Teams application -- that allows you to add OBS filters before Teams receives the feed.Heating issue:I used the camera for a couple of hours during my testing and did NOT face any heating issue. The capture card became slightly warm but I wouldn't call that an issue. So, if your usage is similar to mine (few hours of web conferencing), then don't worry about heating.Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone trying to use their camera for webcam or live streaming. It works out of the box on Windows, and I assume it'll work similarly well on other OS.

Great product. Seamlessly convert hdmi to usb.
Great product. Excellent for people who couldn't afford buying a video card. Also good support for live streaming with obs, streamlabs, vmix etc.

Very easy to use with open source software
The leaflet included points you to an open source application called OBS Studio which works with Linux, Mac and Windows.Setting up takes a few minutes but once you do that, the audio/video stream shows up in a window. You can capture the stream to a file or you can send it onwards to twitch/youtube etc. However my use is different. It’s as an emergency hdmi monitor for embedded devices such as a raspberry pi when no monitor is available.Works very well for both uses. But the device becomes very warm in just 20 minutes of testing.
