Perfect replacement, 5 minutes to install
No more hood on my head or having to use a piece of wood to prop the hood up. Literally just a five minute install, but you do need a person to hold it up, while you replace the lifts. The old ones pop off the mount, with a screw driver to pry the clip off. The new ones press on, no tools needed. Fast shipping a good price.

Fits and Supports Like OEM, Easy to Install
My 2001 Ml320's hood struts were damaged during an accident so when I had to access the engine bay the heavy hood would always be supported by my one hand. On occasions where i need both hands to work on something, I needed to use a stick to hold the hood up. Thankfully this company's hood struts proved to be reliable after going through the reviews. I think i also bought from this company for my 2008 RX350. Overall a good, reliable product.

Excellent value.
A simple install, excellent written instructions. Would rate higher but just installed so don't know longevity, though no reason to doubt its durability. An excellent value.

Worked perfectly, you can install it yourself!
The media could not be loaded. An easy DIY install at a very low price. It installed easily and worked perfectly. My originals started to fail after some 16 years. These are an easy replacement. All you need is a thin flat-head screwdriver for the install. Would also be easier if you had someone to assist to hold the hood along with some wood piece to prop the hoot up while you do the install so you don't run into the risk of the hood falling down on you.

Gas struts go bad after a while
Gas struts go bad after a while, but they are fairly easy to install. The trick to getting the old ones out is removing a circular tensioning spring. This can be done with a small screwdriver inserted into a small slot between the spring and the strut body. This can lift the spring off the strut which will allow that end to easily come off. The new gas just snaps on.

Literally a Snap
The parts came in a timely manner just as advertised. I had never tried to install anything like this before. It was a Snap, and I mean that literally. I simply removed the old lift supports and simply snapped the new ones in place and they work perfectly, I am well pleased with this product.
