This is working for me!
I have osteoarthritis in my hip and haven't been able to get relief with OTC pain meds, or topical medicated patches. I was Very hesitant to order this patch because of the price, and because it is something that I am not familiar with. You know, old dog, new tricks, etc.My hip flares up after very little exercise, or if I sit too long in the car, and in bed - which keeps me awake - tossing and turning forever until I finally just wear out. I researched for a long time before I decided to go for it, and I am so glad that I got one of these patches! I went by the instructions, that in my opinion were very helpful and detailed about how to place the patch. I held it in my hand and placed it on my bare skin in the place where the pain was centered. I didn't feel any relief at that spot, so I kept moving it around. When I got a little above the center of the pain, I started to feel the pain lessening, so I held it there for a few minutes, and sure enough the pain was going away!I got my husband to draw around the edges with a sharpie so that spot wouldn't get lost, and then we went by the instructions on how to apply the adhesive to the Kailo patch, which was easy. The only thing I had trouble with was getting the clear plastic backing off the adhesive so I could stick it to my skin. This is one of those thumbnail peeling adventures where you keep working at it until you finally find the edge and can see it lifting up. Like I said, this was the only hard part of the whole procedure. After the patch was on there good and stuck, it started doing it's job, and I can say for a fact that my pain is 99.9% gone!!! I had one small flare up after I had done a lot of work at the barn, and I thought - here we go again, another product bites the dust! But after a couple of minutes, the pain died down to almost nothing. Yay! And the best part is that I am getting much better sleep because my hip doesn't hurt when I lay down! I have had it on for a little over a week, and that is with the same adhesive patch that I started with. It is turning loose a little bit around the edges, but it's still stuck good enough to stay put. After I shower I make sure that I press down on it with a towel so the water is pushed out from the edges and doesn't seep in.Long story short, I am sold on this little miracle of a pain patch! Some reviewers said it just didn't work for them, and the company says on their site that it is not 100% effective for all people. I'm just glad that it works for me.

Terrible
Oh boy, where do I even start with this pain patch? I mean, I thought I hit the jackpot when I heard about this magical pain-relief patch that was supposed to make all my aches and pains disappear faster than a magician's rabbit. Well, let me tell you, this patch was more like a bad magic trick gone wrong.First of all, the packaging was so fancy, I felt like I was about to apply the elixir of eternal youth onto my skin. But alas, the only thing that turned out eternal was my pain. I slapped that patch on my back like a pro, thinking I was in for some sweet relief. Boy, was I wrong! The patch had this weird smell that can only be described as a blend of old gym socks and expired cheese. I don't know if it was supposed to be aromatherapy or some cruel joke, but it certainly wasn't pleasant. And let's talk about the adhesive – it stuck to my skin with the determination of a barnacle on a shipwreck. I had to use industrial-grade solvents to get it off, which, by the way, didn't do wonders for my skin. But the real kicker was the supposed pain relief. I'd say it was about as effective as whispering sweet nothings to your pain. If anything, it made my pain worse. It was like this patch had a personal vendetta against me. Instead of feeling relief, I felt like I was being slowly roasted by a miniature pain-loving sun right on my back.To make matters worse, it left a sticky residue that attracted every piece of lint and dust in a ten-mile radius. My back ended up looking like a furry dust bunny convention. In conclusion, if you want a good laugh and a lesson in how not to relieve pain, give this patch a try. Just be prepared for disappointment, a funky odor, and the sensation of being cooked alive. It's like a circus of pain in a patch – and not in a good way!

I wouldn't have believed it
When I bought this product, I thought to myself that this can't possibly work and I was positive it was complete BS, but when you're in a lot of pain, you'll try anything. i was till skeptical after about a week, but then I slowly began to decide that it did work. Not 100% for severe pain, but for pain at about a 7 level, the patch does work for me. I have never used the sticky patches that came with it, I've used kinesiology tape.I completely believe those people who say it did not work for them. Luminas patches work for me, too, but they do not work for my daughter. We are all different and experience pain in different ways.It seems to me that it is possible that there really are nano-capacitors in the patches, or perhaps more likely electrostatic capacitors? In any case, I really don't care. All I care about is that I do get relief from the pain in my back.I just bought another one, even though the price should really be about $20. It has been worth the price however when I consider how many lidocaine patches I would have bought since I got first got the kailo patch.I would buy a small one if they were available.

Did not work for me
Contacted Kailo for advice, they were helpful, but I could not get the placement right at all- suffering from trapped femoral nerve causing pain in thigh, knee and shin- this made no difference. It may help some people but not for me. I sent it back and got a full refund- no problem

Successful so far
I suffer from arthritis and have been having weekly appointments with an osteopath for months, trying to get relief for the pain in my lower back and hip. I asked for his opinion on these pain patches and he told me that there is definitely science behind them and they may well work for me. I went ahead and bought one and have been pleased with its efficacy. It took some experimentation to find the best position for it but once I found the correct spot BINGO, it really did relieve the pain.I don't wear it all the time but reach for it at the times I would have reached for the pain killers. I have found that it does nothing to ease muscular pain, but is very effective for nerve pain.So far I'm definitely a fan, my only niggle is that the adhesive pads don't last long and I can't find anywhere to buy spares
