Moderate price, fairly good result
Although I am not amazed by this product, it seems to do a fairly good job of not stripping the color. My main objection is the "hydrating" part of the product's claim. It does not seem to fulfull this claim very well at all. My hair feels no different than when I use the cheaper color protecting shampoos (like Pantene). I will probably not reorder this product.

Love Wella Color Preserve Shampoos!
This shampoo helps my color stay true and not brassy. I've used it for years, but can never find it at stores or beauty supply stores. I wash my hair every day and I think this is the best product for my hair. My hair is thick, curly and had lots of gray, so it helps when a product keeps the (red) color in longer between the coloring process.

Wonderful!
I originally paid $20 a bottle for this in a salon, and I love it so much! So much that I'm looking around online for better deals on it. It smells so good and it makes my hair (highlighted) shinier!!

Great for fine hair
I started using this shampoo after complaining to my stylist about my current regimen. I love this shampoo because I have fine,straight,bodyless hair that gets oily quick. I have tried numerous shampoos and none worked to increase the body or control the oil. This one gives me body and a little wave, while letting me go all day without looking oily. I use it with the leave in detangler and conditioner.J. Russ

Not excited
I have been coloring my hair for years and using a shampoo that preserves color for a while now. I have used this twice and I think I need more time to make a definite decision. Considering the amount you get and the cost of the product, I must have been in a buying mood to have ordered it. The last color preserving shampoo I got was at Target and had a lot more for a lot less.UPDATE: Not very excited about this product. I bought a color preserving shampoo at Target for a lot less that had a lot more in it and it seemed to do just as good of a job as this stuff does. Also the picture is deceptive. It makes the bottle look a lot wider that it really is, though I admit it does show the amount as 12 fl. oz. From now on I'll buy from Target.

It depends...
It seems to preserve color well, but I'm not so sure about the "hydrating" claim. After two uses, I needed to use a 10-minute conditioner b/c my hair seemed dull and sort of unmanageable.I'm a 55 yr old white female with hair that is treated with the trifecta: bleach, dye, and permanent wave!

Their Best Shampoo
I actually order this shampo for my Mom who loves it. I have also found it to be their best formula for a moisturizing shampoo.
