Bob Dylan Ain't Got Nothin' On Us
Hey, Mr Tambourine Man... wait, that's me!I bought 3 of these tambourines us for a local 60's street rock band performance up here in the Georgia mountains, enticed - I will admit - by the price. The band needed crowd support, they said. To our joint surprise and pleasure, these tambourines are great. We even won the approval of the drummer ("Hey, nice sound, you guys! Real skins, man!"). Granted, they do not improve the actual coordination and musical talents of the old hoping to relive their college memories, but when we could at least softly coordinate our chorus while singing and percussing "The House of the Rising Sun," we rocked. That's what our friends said. So, to create new memories and lay down pleasing engrams for the dwindling days, try these tambourines. Good quality. Good sound.

Lovely, low cost, and arrives super fast!
This is my second order. I paint and decorate them for re-sale. Very sturdy birch frame, with a goat-skin head. Perfect for my purposes. :) I have not had the head or frame break yet in over a year of use. I take good care of mine due to the cost and work I put into the decorations. Very very nice when finished! I find old furs and stones to use, and paint unique designs. I am getting ready to put up a few new ones on my shop. They take a while to finish, but it is a labor of love!

Very nice but bigger than expected
Ir sounds very good. However it is big and heavy so playing it is a little bit uncomfortable

Well made tambourine
This tambourine was of higher quality than I expected for the price, and is very good-looking, too. I gave it 5 stars for Sturdiness and Durability, but only 4 stars for "Easy to hold" because this is the classic style, not the newer ergonomic kind, so inherently less easy to hold. No fault of the mfr. One caveat is for anyone who wants just the jangle sound but not the bongo skin sound that goes with this type. The bongo sound is prominent, which I didn't anticipate, and don't prefer, so I cut the skin out. Sounds great!

Not of a good quality
I ordered two, and received one with a tiny hole on it, I didn't worry much about it because I needed the item for an event, when I used it It broke, for the money I paid I expected a better quality!

Nice tambourine
I like that it is light, so it won't get your wrists tired so soon and the sound is nice. I must say that this tambourine is not for heavy users that have a strong hit. Mine broke at the first rehearsal, because I hit it too strong. The company showed excellent service care and sent me a replacement at no cost. I bought another one for rough use, and this one is for one of the singers.
