JXD Metal Series 339 3CH RC Helicopter RTF w/GyroColors Vary Between Orange & Gold

I bought this helicopter a couple of weeks ago and I'm very happy about it. It is much better then other models I've seen in action. It is very sturdy - I hit the walls and my desk quite a few times while learning to fly it but it did not cause any damage and it flies as well as before.It is very stable in flight, I mean orientation-wise. It may have some vertical rotation but it can be trimmed away easily from the controller. Altitude control is very sensitive and prone to pilot-induced oscillations while you are learning how to fly but you get used to it after few tries.Battery life is decent - 5 to 10 min of flight with fully charged batteries. Big plus is ability to charge from a USB port. It can be charged from the controller as well, but I do not use it because it drains controller batteries very fast and the charge is not stable.IR control link is very reliable. Initially I was hesitant about IR and wanted to get radio-controlled one, but this IR is not very sensitive to obstacles.And LED lights are so cool!!! :)IMHO, it is definitely worth 40 bucks

I think this is the best made helicopter I've owned. Very sturdy. Has had many crashes but hasn't affected performance. Can land and take off anywhere. It goes straight up on take-off, which many of my other models preferred to be launched out of your hand. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is, it only has an 8-meter range at best. Gets flakey at 20 feet away at times, and if I go over about 15 feet high, it sometimes just drops like a rock. Good thing it's well made!

I purchased this helicopter for my 12 year old grandson for Christmas. Much to our disappointment, the helicopter would not fly. The lights worked and the blades rotated, however, it would not lift off and fly no matter what we tried. I tried contacting the company for help to troubleshoot the problem without success. I returned the helicopter and to date have not received my refund.

I bought this for my husband to play with and he loved playing with it for about a month and then it broke. Something internally just stopped working and it now sits in the storage room collecting dust. I really wish it was constructed better because it really is a fun and neat toy but unfortunately, we only got a month's worth out of it before it broke. Luckily, the price wasn't too bad.

This little copter is very cool, but not quit as tough as the Syma 107. It has much better lights, and lights up like a Christmas tree, but it lost the landing skids in a rough landing. Shortly afterward, it quit working all together.

Bought this helicopter on a whim just to see if they were as much fun as I heard they were. The answer to that is ABSOLUTELY! This is my first helicopter so I'm certainly no expert but this 50 year old is having a blast with this thing.I've been flying it for a couple of weeks and am not very good at it yet so there have been quite a few crashes... into walls, furniture, appliances, the concrete driveway, trees, bushes, the side of the house .... you name it and I've probably crashed this helicopter into it. Not a single part has come off or even come loose. Nice to have the replacement parts though because I think I'm going to need them before I get the hang of it. So far though, this helicopter has held up remarkably well to my dismal flying abilities.Also nice to have a charger to plug into the wall so I don't have to spend a fortune on batteries. On a full charge I've gotten 7-10 minutes of flying time. The lights on it are pretty cool but you can turn them off if you don't like them. I've flown it mostly indoors and a few times outdoors, although it is a bit more of a challenge to control if there's a slight breeze. I wouldn't attempt flying it outside on a windy day.Bottom line ... it's more durable than I thought it would be, the price is right, and it's fun. Just buy one...you know you want to.

My bf loved this gift! Took him awhile to get the hang of flying it since the manual was written rather poorly, and the connection for the charger was a little touchy and would stop charging if it just barely came loose. Other then that it was alot of fun and very durable!

I absolutely love to play with RC helicopters and don't take it as a profession or competitively. i simply like to fly them as a hobby and for my own enjoyment. i had owned one previous to this RC Helicopter which cost me 50 bucks at the mall. sadly i had to trash it because it seemed cheaply made and had a lot of broken parts on it but it did last me a good while.so i ended up buying this one, honestly it really isn't bad. it flies great and has really good control to it. absolutely love the color and love the alternating L.E.D lights on it. the controller isn't very big or bulky, it fits into my hand very well, trust im a big guy with big hands and it is just perfect for me. on the controller it has two buttons on it that allow me to turn off/on the L.E.D's and another to adjust the acceleration. when i don't tap the acceleration button the helicopter moves at its regular acceleration speed which isn't too fast but when i tap the acceleration button the helicopter moves at a faster acceleration speed which in my opinion is very fast. picture a car going 10 mph then picture someone stepping on the gas full throttle going about 50 mph. yup its that fast.also the helicopter can hover which is the reason i gave this a 4 star rating. i was looking for a good helicopter that can hover so i thought i would try this one out and it seemed ok at first but then it gradually began to decline while in the air. it wasn't a bad decline but it was noticeable. i mean overall it is a great helicopter does what the description says it does, moves up ,down, forward, backwards and things of that nature and it kinda drifts when the acceleration button is pushed and while taking a sharp turn, lol, im glad i bought this helicopter and i hope this review has helped you and your decision making process .thank you
