Good light, but could be made much better with a few changes. Update: 4/14/2023 One star added to make it 5 stars based upon Customer Service. Customer service sent me a replacement light to take care of the charge port cover fall off issue. So they do make good on customer satisfaction and you can thus buy with confidence. I made some other suggestions on product improvement that I hope they will consider, to make it into the best light in this category. Update @ 4/11/23: The cover of the charging port had come off. It seemed that it just slipped out of its attachment point. I asked the seller how to re-insert it. They responded with no solution except offering me a 20% refund. I did not find that acceptable--I want the cover to be usable. As a work light, the charging port should have a cover that stays on. I am waiting to see what they say, and will deduct or add a star or two accordingly. The other issue I am having is that it does not stay charged even when not used, and takes a really long time to charge. I've since bought rechargeable LED headlamps to use--those have the charging port covered with a rubber cover that just sticks on like chewing gum. >>> The magnet seems strong, not as weak as some of the reviews indicated, and much stronger than I expected. The folding arm does not seem very robust; seems to be easy to twist and break--the hinges should be made much stronger--so afraid to hit something inadvertently and break it off. The brightness is OK, but it takes an awfully long time to charge. Having a battery level indicator is nice. I used for a very short time and the battery level went down one level (3 battery indicators lights out of 4)--and it is taking a while to top off again. I read that the battery cannot be swapped in & out--if it could, and with an extra charged battery, such would make this light truly better.

Great, handy, bright work light. This rechargeable light has become my primary emergency/daily work light as the battery last a long time. The light can be adjusted to different brightness levels or can be used a direct beam flashlight. I use it lot when working on my car as it has and strong magnet on the end that holds the light in place either hanging or standing. The folding arm allows multiple focus options which allows you to direct the light where you need it. It stays charged for long periods of time when not in use. The very handy battery indicator tells you the battery charge level. It charges quickly and last a long time. It's not small but can be carried in your pocket if need be. Very multifunctional light for many different applications.

Terrible quality and durability. Stopped lighting, replaced it, then the swivel broke the second time used. They would not replace. They only warrant one year from date of purchase, NOT the product. If they offer you a refund, take it and repurchase. Don't take the replacement option. If you are ok repurchasing every year its fine when it works.

The new version has a weaker battery and magnet. Still a decent task light but inferior to the original. 1/12/26 bumped up a star for excellent customer service

Lightweight and bright enough

I didn't want to give a review until I used it for awhile. It's been a couple months and so far so good. I use it on auto repair mostly. The magnet is strong so it stays in position and the swivel action is a real plus. It's durable to a point however it is basically plastic so I'm careful not to accidentally damage it. That said it's a great value for the money.

Got this as a grill light, and got to use it exactly once before it broke in two. The light itself is nice, it's bright and it articulates well. However, it is extremely fragile, it fell only a short distance and snapped in two. I'd read reviews here that the light wasn't well built, and took a chance on it anyway. Sorry I did. If you order this light, be very, very careful with it. A strong breeze might snap it in half. Everything else about the light is fine, just don't expect it to take any, and I mean *any* abuse.

Works great. The battery seems to last a while. It’s only Achilles heel is the magnet on. It is useless on the hoods of newer cars as they are all aluminum. But that’s not the lights’s fault.

The flood light works. You just have to turn the dial. This worklight feels sturdy and durable and alot cheaper than what's on the market.

I had both the light about five years ago for my job and it’s great. So I purchased anyone and the first time I unfolded it to use it it broke into two pieces. Retuned that one for a new replacement which I had opened and closed it several times to make sure it was good than suck in my garage for a few weeks before needing to using it. It broke again in the exact spot the last one did. The say it been too long to return it but sent a message to the seller with no reply.
