Well-priced & well-made.Is durable, hand washable & cute.It is muti-purpose. Yes it's supposed to be for electric hair curling irons & straighteners, but I'm using mine for my hot glue gun when I craft. It's a nice width & size, and I can lay down my hot glue gun without worry of glue dripping, or me burning the table top. (the dried glue peels right off, without damage to the Silicone mat.) Just a suggestion.......But most definitely can be used for its intended purpose of hot hair tools & counter top protection. It has a pouch so you can immediately put your hot hair tools or hot glue gun in it while they're still hot, without worry.I bought it in hot pink & love the cheery fun color.Hoping I helped you decide

it works but the glove makes it kinda hard to grab hair since it makes you have a good grip but over all it works and the mat is nice but a little hard to wrap and i spilled water on it so it made it bend into a curve shape but before that it work nicely

I trust this product! I had the scary pleaser of finding out how well it works. I turned my Straightener on and left it on the heat resistant pad all day. I had to leave suddenly and return to a home and a bathroom. The traveling doesn't work so well besides that recommend
