Digital Baby Monitor Safe-n-Clear Delta Children

This is a great, inexpensive monitor. The sound is crystal clear. It can get a little staticky if the volume is all the way up and it is picking up a very loud noise. I deducted one star, because when my little one screams at the top of her lungs (tantrum during time out) the sound cuts in and out a little. It is almost as if the speaker goes into self preservation lol. This has not hindered its effectiveness whatsoever, since I have heard her long before she hits that volume. I have not tested its range, so i can not speak to that. If this were an expensive unit, I would have only given it 3 stars. However, it does its job very well for the price. The sound quality is twice as good as a MUCH more expensive setup I had previously. That one malfunctioned, and I got this one as a temporary until I found a nice setup with a screen. Never bothered to upgrade, since this one works great. This is actually the second one I purchased (step son feels safer knowing we could hear him if something happened). The first one we bought is 2 years old now, and working great too.Update: The old one died. Then, the NEW one died too. Sound is great at first. After a few weeks, the speaker became very staticky. Then, it would cut out if there was any loud sounds.....like crying for example. Useless!!! Staticky even with the volume turned way down.

This product is very good and the price was great.

The baby monitor is exactly what I ordered and I'm very pleased.

This is a very cheap piece of equipment that does not work. If you hold it to your ear you can hear real low sounds

This thing is a piece of junk. I bought one a couple months ago, and I finally gave up on it a few days ago. It is so super cheap. The parent unit had massive amounts of intermittent static which woke me up about a million times. I adjusted the position of the unit, and the position of the cord, over and over. It just got worse over time. Now I just want to smash it with a sledge hammer. I'm so glad the new, more expensive one (of a different brand) I ordered arrived today, so that I can throw this piece of crap in the trash.

What is the point of having a monitor when you can’t hear anything??? I’ve got two older kids and use this for my twin babies and I literally cannot tell whether I’m imagining crying or if they really are. Maybe if you have a single kiddo and a quiet house. But for us? We’re replacing it for something that WORKS.

Like everyone else, I purchased this at Walmart for around $16. The microphone works well enough but the huge limitation with this is the speaker on the parent unit, even all the way up. You can hear it if you put it up to your ear or if you're in a completely quiet room.

The basic issue with this product is that it is not clearly audible. So its been often times, that my kid has woken up and i havent been able tohear that and he has been crying for long and then i will hear his voice as i would have even otherwise, without keeping the baby monitor. And this has happened multiple times, while using the product properly and also not having any other loud sound in the vicinity. So the basic purpose of buying the product is defeated.Even worse was the response from cart2india/amazon who both refused to admit their wrong and kept referring to some wierd clause which only they would understand and put it as a disclaimer.So basically once u buy this product, cart2india and amazon will wash their hands off it. More shocked with Amazon doing this since its a brand i trusted blindly. Anyway lesson learnt!If i had an option to give zero or minus rating, i would have given that.A very disappointed/feeling betrayed customer
