Yes, it does. We used a glass container so the plant was still easily visible.

Q: How long can the plant stay in the package before putting it in water?

Depending on the weather I wouldn't go past 3 days there's Styrofoam and plastic included in packaging

They are bound together to form the pineapple... it shipped nicely and was intact and healthy... and growing nicely

Q: Are these real plants or plastic i want to buy a real one for my mother?

I also purchased through Amazon a clear glass cylinder like bowl plant fits perfectly inside and holds enough water to continuously feed it for up to 1-2 weeks in low light and thriving. I tried to take pics but wouldn’t let me upload.
